"thank you, i worked hard on it last night," tony says around a mouthful of sandwich. once he's finished eating he moves on to the essay, grunting his thanks to ginny as he uses the outline she's drafted for him. he can ace tests in his sleep without studying, but homework is never something he's particularly interested in accomplishing.
she finishes her lunch and stretches out on the grass beside him while he writes, offering suggestions occasionally but for the most part just relaxing while tony works on his essay.
once his essay is done, tony sprawls out beside her, closing his eyes against the sunlight. his hand finds hers, holding it loosely. âyou shouldâve seen me today.â
itâs cute how excited he is. âi wish they would have let us watchâŚâ she squeezes his hand and looks up at the sky through the leaves of the tree theyâre beneath.
âoh well, i guess youâll just have to wait and see how good i am at our first match,â tony grins. âand then next year, you can try out for ravenclawâŚâ he jokes.
she giggles, scrunching her face up. âiâm still too scared of going up that highâŚâ
tony sighs, letting go of her hand to cover his face with his. âto my great shame as your best friend.â
âbut youâre a good flier, so youâll be a great chaser,â she says, looking over at him.
