Hello! My name is Anna – I'm launching this campaign in support of my friend Shams and her family, who are in Gaza. Please consider helping,
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE:
Hello friends, after reaching halfway to my goal in the previous link,
a dispute occurred with the campaign organizer, and they closed the campaign, causing a loss of part of the funds.
Therefore, I need your renewed support on my new donation link.
You can check the old link at the bottom of the page.
I am Shams from Gaza, 17 years old, a girl from a family of 7. I was in my first year of high school before the war. I loved my family, my school, my friends, and life itself. But the war came and took everything I loved away.
The days have passed filled with loss and hunger. We no longer go to school—education has stopped, my school and home were bombed, and now my sister, her four daughters, and I all live in a single room.
We are struggling just to find a bite to eat, to have a roof that protects us from rain, rocket shrapnel, and the smell of gunpowder. Time passed, and I was supposed to take my final exams this year, but the war took away our right to education in every way.
We are facing the worst living conditions—insanely high prices for food, cleaning supplies, and medicine. We are displaced after losing our home. My father was injured while trying to find food; he suffers from a herniated disc in his back.
We are truly in need of help. Life here is almost impossible, and the conditions are extremely harsh. Please help me secure shelter, food, medical care, and at least a livable situation. A little from you can make a big difference.

Hello, my name is Nadin. I’m from Gaza. I’m a graphic design graduate, a wife—and now, a mother.
I finished my design studies just before the war began. I had dreams of starting a small studio, of creating art that told stories. I used to think about colors and fonts and the future.
Then, the war came. And the future became something we tried to hold onto, moment by moment.
On October 22, 2023, I learned I was pregnant when a missile destroyed my husband’s family home, killing 25 members—his mother, siblings, nieces and nephews—entire branches of our family in seconds.
We were displaced twice. Everything was gone—home, safety, routine, rest.
A few weeks later, I gave birth to our daughter. There was no crib, no celebration—not even stillness. But she arrived, quietly and beautifully. In her eyes I saw something I hadn’t felt in weeks: life that still wanted to grow.
Now, our days are shaped by decisions that could dismantle the future we are trying to build together.
Today, Israel’s government is discussing plans for a full military occupation of the Gaza Strip, including Gaza City and southern regions. The stated aim: to eliminate Hamas and later hand governing control to allied Arab forces—not Israel—but with no clear path to peace or normalcy.
The humanitarian fallout is devastating. More than 61,000 Palestinians have died in this war; hunger and malnutrition are rising sharply. Hospitals in north Gaza have shut down, and 193 people have now died of starvation, nearly half of them children.
Aid remains blocked, water is scarce, and many risk dying of hunger or disease long before future promises arrive.
We Don’t Know What Comes Next
There’s no clear path forward—only uncertainty for our daughter’s life and our ability to survive another day.
My name is Nadin, and I’m a mother from Gaza.
How You Can Help
I’m asking for support—not for comfort, but for survival:
Help us meet basic needs so we can breathe, heal, and preserve a world for our daughter.
Support us as I try to stand again on my own feet—even a glimmer of stability matters.
If you’ve read this far, thank you. If you can give—thank you. If you can’t—just sharing this post is a lifeline I will never forget.
My name is Saja. I’m a wife, a mother, and a woman who once believed her story would be simple. I thought my days would be filled with watching my daughter grow — from her first smile to her first steps — surrounded by the small joys of everyday life.
But life had other plans.
War has returned to our home. Again. And once again, we find ourselves living under skies that never seem to rest.
There was a moment — a fragile, breathless moment — when the bombs paused and the world seemed to remember us. It gave us hope. We thought maybe, just maybe, we could start to rebuild. But now, we are back in the dark — hiding, holding on, praying.
I’m writing this not as someone seeking pity, but as a mother who has no other choice but to speak.
Imagine holding your baby in the middle of the night, not because she cried, but because the world outside roared too loud for either of you to sleep. Imagine whispering bedtime stories not to lull her into dreams, but to keep the fear from settling into her tiny bones.
This is my life.
This is my daughter’s life.
And even now — especially now — I believe in softness. I believe in kindness. Because when everything else is taken from you, hope becomes the most valuable thing you have.
Why I’m Reaching Out Our home has been damaged. Our lives changed. But through it all, my daughter wakes up every morning with a smile. She reaches for me with trust, with love, with faith that I will keep her safe.
That’s why I keep going.
I’ve launched a campaign to ask for help — not because it’s easy, but because silence is no longer an option. I am asking for support not just for me, but for my baby, and for the quiet strength of so many mothers like me who are fighting, every single day, to hold their families together.
How You Can Help: 🤍 Help us restore parts of our home so we can live with dignity 🤍 Support women and mothers in Gaza with access to care and resources 🤍 Keep the light of hope alive for a generation born in the shadows of war
💛 If you can, please support our journey here:
My name is Saja. I am a mother, a wife, and just one of many women in Gaza trying to hold on — to hope, to my family, and to a life that no
If you can’t give, please consider sharing. Your voice might be the reason someone else hears ours.
From My Heart to Yours Maybe our lives are worlds apart. Maybe you’ve never lived through war. But if you’ve ever held a child and wished the world could be better for them — then you understand more than you know.
I don’t want my daughter to grow up thinking the world turned away.
Please, if you’ve read this far — thank you. Thank you for seeing us. Thank you for caring. We are still here. Still hoping. Still holding on to every kind act like it’s a lifeline.
💔🇵🇸 My Daughter Was Born Under Bombs — I'm Just Trying to Keep Her Alive
My name is Abdulmajid.
I got married one month before the war.
Those were beautiful days — full of hope, love, and simple dreams.
I dreamed of a small home, a quiet family, and a baby girl I could hold without fear.
But the war came…
Suddenly. Brutally.
My mother was killed.
My brother was killed.
Children in my family were taken by the bombs.
My home was destroyed.
And my work stopped completely.
Then… in the middle of this nightmare, my baby girl was born.
A tiny soul, innocent, unaware of the war.
She cries from hunger, from cold, from the sounds of bombs shaking what’s left of our walls.
Today, I’m a father with almost nothing…
Fighting every day to find flour, milk, or even a small meal to feed my child.
Prices are sky-high — a single 25kg bag of flour can cost $800.
There is no work. No income. No safety. No stability.
I write this from under siege, hoping my heart will reach yours.
My name is Abedmajed Elderawi, and I live in Gaza with what remains of my once large and loving family.
Even $1 can make a difference.
It can feed a child, buy milk, or bring a moment of peace.
Be the heart that reaches Gaza. Be the hand that saves.
📌 Please share this post. Let our voices be heard — not buried under rubble.

just learned that a mutual of mine is pro israel (they’re now blocked) so i wanted to take the time to say that if you believe what’s happening in palestine is not a genocide than you are not welcome here. unfollow me block me whatever i don’t want you interacting with me at all
i’m reblogging this to all my blogs just as a reminder that all anti-palestinians, islamophobes, pro-zionist, pro-israeli government, and anti-semites are not welcome on this blog.
what is happening in palestine is it’s not just a genocide. it’s a massacre familiar to my people because it is a product of 80+ years of oppression. it is not a thousand year conflict, and calling it that makes it seem impossible to fix or work to end.
we can end this. sign petitions. come to protests. make it clear to the us government that we do not condemn funding apartheid and eradication.
🏳️⚧️ Please please please don't scroll past this, I'm still severely struggling and I'm desperate. Sorry for my lack of activity lately but I'm now unemployed, I haven't gotten a single call back from any of the jobs I've applied for, and my partner and I are still homeless. I haven't been able to afford my meds or any groceries to supplement what we get from the food pantry and soup kitchen in months, now. 🏳️⚧️
Help a trans lesbian and her trans disabled partner survive. $asheramalcha is my c.a., @itscosmo444 is my partner's v.m.
⚠ please do not tag this post, I don't have access to a computer except using public ones at the library because I haven't even been able to charge my phone in weeks. I don't want to have to keep remaking these posts, but I'm scared and I'm no longer optimistic about our situation ⚠
Just a small post. I know there is a lot going on right now. But I would be really grateful if you guys donated any amount to my ko-fi. I am a trans, queer Bengali author and poet, and I am planning to move out of my house by mid 2024.
In 2023, my parents and I had to do a lot of fund raising because earlier last year, my father was seriously ill and then, in spring, my grandmother passed away after a short illness. A lot of you pitched in and helped us cover the expenses, and it was an act of kindness I will not forget, especially from my mutuals and friends here.
I am trying to go abroad for my own safety and to get a wider platform to publish my trans queer stories. I have been rejected at several Indian trad publishing houses, my opinions on LGBTQ intersectionality were quashed when I worked for the Indian "liberal" rainbow-washed press, and seeing the political suppression of free thinking in India genuinely concerns me as an artist. I cannot write on apolitical themes. But I also need safety, and I don't have it here. I need money to apply to a fully funded study program and I hesitate to take any more from family members who are already struggling with medical expenses and losses.
My ko-fi also has my trans sapphic love story at a reduced price (6 dollars). While the story is available online, it would mean the world to me if you bought it instead. I have several more stories scheduled for 2024 and intend to continue writing for all the young trans and queer brown persons who are erased from mainstream media. Thank you, and if you cannot donate, please share this.
Note: Please do not tag this with trigger or filter tags.

i didn’t know about rick riordan or the pjo cast. i definitely think it’s good to spread awareness about that but using language like clout chasing isn’t very productive and might only discourage people from sharing about palestine
rick riordan posted a since-edited blog post about how there are "two sides" to the genocide being committed in palestine
dior goodjohn (who plays clarisse) posted about how "israel" is under attack and ignored people who tried to educate her about palestine
jessica parker kennedy (who plays medusa) is married to ronen rubenstein, an israeli zionist
what would you call people who post gifsets so that they can get notes on tumblr dot com while ignoring that the free promotion they're doing for disney will put money into the pockets of zionists and fund israeli genocide? clout chaser is frankly one of the tamest phrases i can use and i can spread awareness about palestine while still calling out people for being disingenuous in their support when they refuse to do the bare minimum
