i think my take on that guy who makes videos roleplaying as techno is that techno himself would probably get a kick out of it and find it kind of flattering but what's equally important is how techno's living friends and family feel about it. and the fact that several of them have said that it makes them uncomfortable that someone is profiting off of his likeness by copying his persona and technodad seems unsure about how he feels about it means this guy should probably stop out of respect

for those not in the know btw a bunch of larp youtubers have emerged recently roleplaying as ccs previously in the dsmp sphere. technolarp specifically kind of got more attention recently because skeppy collabed with him which uhm. i cant imagine is great for the psyche tbh

So much shit the DSMP got away with that other SMPs would be way too organized to do. A major character literally died permanently in a huge dramatic moment, something no one on the server had done before, but then the CC decided that the only reason that character was really truly dead is bc it was his third "Canon Death." So we as the community had to piece together how many canon deaths each character probably had and what made a Canon Death "count" meanwhile the other CCs were totally unaware of this storytelling mechanic until their chats started asking about it. Insanity

dmsp was like those old movies that were absolutely stunning and had a really captivating sense of magic and color that we cant really capture today and then you google it and the wikipedia reads out how the filming killed like 30 people and permanently wounded 6 others
