Heal Over

This feels like either a) a potential scam that is attempting to capitalize on the very real suffering of those actually in Gaza for very selfish personal gain or b) some sort of bait to attempt to expose what you believe is my “internalized Islamophobia” by seeing if I, a Black woman, will still be willing to support your cause after an election proved that a large percentage of Muslim and Arab immigrants voted against my own safety in this country and therefore I must now be a heartless, genocidal maniac who never cared about Palestine in the first place. That ‘s not true at all but just like I don’t know you, you don’t know me so if me choosing to protect my peace for what I only hope to be the next four years (although who knows) makes me evil in your eyes, then so be it. I will survive the negative opinion of a stranger. Surviving a second Trump term will be much more difficult but that is my main focus right now. Call me selfish if that helps you. I know my heart and it is wounded so I am guarding it. Please do not come on my page and attempt to emotionally manipulate me for any reason. If this is real, then I wish you the best of luck but I am unable to support any additional causes outside of ensuring mine and my own family’s safety at this time.
