Alone, much like his name, wasโฆwell alone. Tenma and Sasha had been taken far away from him. Alone was used to it but he couldnโt help the aching in his heart from time to time. When he had met Pandora and became the God of the underworld, he thought that he had everything he could ask for. Well, he was wrong. He was even more alone. Sure he had his servants and he had Pandora to do his biddings, but he could tell his heart was aching for someone to stick to his side, to fuse about him.ย
He watched his specters getting ready to launch an attack against Athena and the saints. His hands laced behind his back as she watched with dark, calculating eyes. Closing his eyes, he took a deep breath and turned away. He walked down the long hallway and found it to be so cold and lonely. โPandora,โ He called out. The black haired female appeared in front of him and knelt down. โMy king, what can I do for you?โ She asked.ย
โIโm going into the human town below. Donโt let any of the spectors know and please do not follow me.โ He said, walking past her. He waved his hand and his robes were changed to match what the mortals below wore. Pandora nodded her head and sighed. Alone looked around the small village he had appeared in and was somewhat mesmerized by it. He continued to walk around looking at all the stalls that surrounded the area.ย
He had stopped at one to see the various necklaces that the person was selling, impressed by the craftsmanship of them. His eyes darted to the side when he heard the sound of someone running towards him. He could practically hear the pounding heart in the person's chest. โPlease help me.โ The gentle voice made his heart race in his chest and he fully stood up from where he had been hunched over.ย
โWhatโs wrong?โ He asked, feeling how her entire body was shaking. โSTOP RIGHT THERE GIRL!โ An angered voice ripped through the air causing the girl to hide behind Alone. The black haired male was shocked that she didnโt seem to fear him but was unnerved by the venom he could hear in the angered voice. โWhatโs the problem?โ His voice tattered on the edge of annoyance as he moved to shield the girl that hid behind him. โThat girl needs to leave with me! I bought her! I had to sell so much to get the money to even buy her!โ The man yelled, reaching behind Alone and grabbed the girl's wrist.ย
She cried out causing Hades to react. His hand shot out and grabbed the other male's wrist tightly. โYou will do no such thing. She belongs to me now. Touch her and I will have your head.โ Hades spoke, his anger surrounding him. The other, however, didnโt see the anger or even hear the threat as he started screaming and yelling. Hades gave up on his disguise, allowing his magic to flow around him. His robes fluttered around him before it was changed to his armor. The six black and silver wings sat on his back and his sword was pressed against the male's throat. The girl stood behind Hades, not caring who or what he was and pressed closer to his back. Hades looked behind him to see the girl shivering behind him. His eyes softened a bit when he looked at her. She was a delicate human but she was beautiful in his eyes. Her h/c hair flowing just past her collarbone. She was a lot smaller and shorter than he was, which made him smile knowing that he could at least protect someone.ย
The man screamed in horror before scrambling to get up off the ground and run. Everyone else had darted from the area right as the Hades had appeared before them. โGirl, what is your name?โ Hades asked, turning around to face her. She lifted her head and Hadesโs heart pounded in his chest. He was confused though. He didnโt care for humans but this girl seemed to stir his emotions. โY/n. My name is Y/n.โ She whispered. Hades smiled and held his hand out to her. Y/n took his hand and was amazed when she was no longer in the shameful town.ย
โPandora!โ Hades called, Y/n turned to see a very beautiful woman kneeling before Hades. โYes my king?โ She asked. โTake Y/n to the guest room and bring her something comfortable to wear. She will be staying here.โ Hades said, his armor disappearing in a poof of black, his robes fluttering once again around him. Pandora nodded her head before standing up and giving Y/n a gentle smile.ย
โHe has been so lonely lately. Iโm very surprised that he found someone to bring back with him.โ Pandora mumbled, as the two girls walked down the hallway. โI would like to thank him, Miss Pandora.โ Y/n whispered. Pandora turned her head to look at Y/n with wide eyes. โThank him? For what?โ She asked. Y/n shivered but a smile sat on her face. โHe saved me when no one else would.โ She whispered. Pandora could see the happiness radiating off Y/nโs face just from the smile.
Pandora smiled and a soft chuckle left her lips. โLet me fetch the dress for you. Once you are dressed, I will take you to see Hades.โ Pandora said, opening the door. Y/n walked into the room and looked around. It was huge. Decorated in black and gold, with a king size bed pressed against the wall, with a table next to it. Pandora smiled before closing the door and walking down the hallway to collect the dress. Y/n walked towards the bed and laid on it. Her body melted into the comfortable bed.ย
The tension that she had felt before disappeared and her eyes slowly began to close. A knock on the door caused her to sit up. โCome in.โ She called. Pandora opened the door and smiled softly. โLetโs get you ready.โ Pandora said, holding up the dress she would be wearing. Y/nโs eyes widened as the beautiful piece of clothing. Pandora helped Y/n into the dress and began styling Y/nโs hair. Pandora, stepping back, grinned at her handy work and quickly pulled out the body length mirror.ย
Y/n pressed her hand to her face as she looked at the reflection. The dress she wore reminded her of a princess. It was black, with gold and red accents, half arm bell sleeves that dropped about halfway down the dress. A sweetheart neckline that made her collarbones pop, and her hair was pulled into a messy bun. Pandora smiled at the innocent but happy smile that appeared on Y/nโs lips. Y/n twirled around once before Pandora handed her a box. โFrom Hades himself.โ She whispered. Y/n opened the box and found a black charm bracelet sitting on dark red velvet. โItโs a protection charm bracelet. He could see how terrified you were back in town and he doesnโt want you to feel that way again.โ Pandora explained.ย
Y/n felt her heart pounding in her chest as Pandora helped her put the bracelet on. Once the dress and bracelet were in perfect order, Pandora placed a pair of heels out. โPut these on and we will go to Hades.โ She said, opening the door and stepping out. Y/n slipped her feet in the heels and found herself entering a whole new world, but she knew that she belonged here.
Y/n hummed as she waddled around Hades' study. The black ring on her ring finger glistened in the summer sun. Her hair had grown much longer and she had it in a braid. She sat in the chair closest to the balcony doors. She grabbed the book from the table beside that chair and opened it up. Her hand soon finds its home on her stomach. A smile appeared on her lips. โI canโt wait for you to be born, my child.โ She whispered, opening the book to begin reading. However she grew restless as the baby in her stomach became active. She giggled before marking her place in the book and rubbing her stomach.ย
โWould you like me to sing to you my love?โ She whispered to her stomach. A gentle kick to her stomach was felt against her stomach and her smile grew bigger. She leaned back against the chair and closed her eyes. โWhy donโt I sing you a song I heard when I was a little girl. A song that most girls would sing in hopes of finding their beloved someday in their life.โ Y/n mumbled softly. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She hummed for a moment to get the tune right before she began to sing.ย

I close my eyes and the flashback starts:

Hades leaned against the doorframe listening to his wife singing. Minos appeared before Hades. โAthena and the Saints have appeared to be moving towards our location. What should we do?โ Hades wished this war would come to an end. He had found his reason to stop fighting. He pushed himself from the doorframe. He took one last glance at his wife and how she was singing to their unborn baby.ย
Minos stood from his spot and bowed to Hades. โStay with my wife and protect her. I will gather the others and figure out a plan.โ Hades said, before walking down the hallway. Minos watched him leave before he slowly entered the room. His specter armor disappeared as he appeared in Y/nโs line of sight. She looked up at him and smiled. He sat down in front of her and closed his eyes, listening to her sing.ย
So, I sneak out to the garden to see you

Before long, Hades returned to the room. As he opened the door and peeked inside, his chest blossomed in warmth. His wife, sitting in the chair, with her eyes closed as she was still singing. However, Minos was laying on the ground, completely passed out, Aiacos staring up at her with childlike wonder and a smile on his face, and Rhadamanthys leaning against the wall staring out the balcony window. Y/n had always been gentle, even with the specters who could take punches and be fine. She handled them when they were wounded, telling them that everything would be ok and that they didnโt need to hold back the tears. She was someone they all needed when they had to see something off their chests. She would always smile at them. She would treat them with such gentleness they didnโt know what to do or how to respond.ย
Hades watched his three strongest Celestial stars devote themselves to Y/n in a matter of days after tasting her kindness once. He remembered Aiacos asking if he could touch Y/nโs stomach when 5 months into her pregnancy and Hades found her laughter to be the sweetest sound ever. He loved the way that she took Aiacosโs hand and pressed it against her stomach and the wide eyed glances the specter would give Hades wife every time the baby kicked.ย

When I met you on the outskirts of town

He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring and said

Before long, Y/n found herself being helped back to herโs and Hades room by the three celestial stars before they said their goodnights, bowed, and left to their rooms. Y/n smiled softly before entering her room. Hades sat in his chair with a book in his hand reading before lifting his gaze to his wife as she entered the room. โMy love, why are you still awake? We have much to do tomorrow. Come with me to bed.โ Y/n said, holding her hands out once she was closer to him.ย
Alone smiled at her before lifting his hands and taking her outstretched hands in his. He pulled her into his chest and wrapped his arms around her, holding her gently so as to not hurt the baby. โJust two more months Alone. Two more months and we will have a mini you and me running around.โ Y/n whispered as Alone helped her into bed. He smiled, feeling Hades grinning as well. โI canโt wait for that day to come.โ He whispered, pressing his forehead against hers before climbing into bed. His fingers intertwining with hers as sleep took over the two.ย
โKENJI!!โ A child's giggle could be heard as both his parents ran around trying to find him. Minos ducked under the table and found the small child trying to hide. Minos and Kenji had become best friends the day Kenji was 5 years old. โUncle Minos, mommy and daddy canโt find me yet.โ Kenji giggled as they heard both parents yell out for him once more. Minos grinned and quickly picked the child up. โLetโs hide in my room.โ Minos whispered as he ran towards his room with Kenji trying to hold in his laughter.
Once they had made it to Minosโs room, the taller specter closed the door and placed the child on his bed. Just as Minos was about to get a book for Kenji to read, Y/n and Hades appeared in the room. โKenji~โ Y/nโs voice caused Minos to freeze from where he was standing but the young child burst into a fit of laughter when Y/n wrapped her arms around the child and pressed kisses to his face. โNOO! Uncle Minos was gonna read me a story!โ Kenji cried out when Y/n started walking towards the door with Hades following.ย
Y/n and Hades looked at each other before caving. They turned and headed back towards Minos. โUncle Minos can read you one story but then it's time for bed.โ Hades said, looking over at Minos with a stern look, but the God had a smile on his face. โOne story.โ Minso said, holding up the book he would read. Hades and Y/n smiled before placing their son on Minosโs bed. They sat in the chairs in the corner of his room and listened to Minos read the story to their son.
Y/n leaned her head on Hades shoulder, a smile on her lips. โThank you for saving me that day Hades. If you hadnโt, this would have never happened for me.โ Y/n whispered. Hades wrapped his arm around her shoulder and a smile sat on his lips as well. He turned his head and pressed a kiss to her head. โI should be the one to tell you that. I love you Y/n.โ He whispered. Y/n smiled, tucking herself closer to him. โAnd I love you two, forever.โ She whispered.
