i feel like im suffocating, like there’s no amount of air in this world that could possibly satiate my lungs. it is as though i am a foreigner in my own mind. my thoughts betray me, they turn against me, ripping me apart as if i am nothing. as if i no longer exist.

You hold me at your wits end. No matter how heart-rendering the path you took to get where you are today, how cold the depths of your soul may have frozen in the past, my arms will remain open without fail. So share with me your deepest regrets, the stories that make your lips tremble in fear that the wind may steal your secrets and whisper them to the world. I will keep them safe. I will take you as you are and nothing less.

The space that we have created between us harbors no limit for judgment, as you can say anything and I will not abandon you. Show me the worst side of yourself and watch the light in my eyes not quiver once.
