Sony has announced that from January 2028 it will entirely stop the production of physical discs for new PlayStation games. From that point onwards, new releases will only be available in digital versions from the PlayStation Store and other retailers. Games released before January 2028 will still be available on disc.

They cite "consumer preference" as the reason, but we all know what's going on. If there's no physical media, you don't really own your game. You're only renting it.

1. The focus on whether or not a pairing will become canon as a reason people should ship something or not.  Do you not understand what the “transformative” part of “transformative works” means?”

2. This idea that saying “I ship that” means “I think that, as presented in canon,this is a perfect, healthy relationship that everyone should model their relationship after.” 

I noticed these random overworld NPC dialogues.

Some of these NPCs saw Yu and Nanako together during the first month of the game and assume, either directly or indirectly, that they actually are siblings.

The first one doesn't say it outright but she's someone who I presume is a classmate or peer of Nanako and when she recognizes Yu as the guy Nanako lives with she immediately brings up her own twin sibling and brags, which makes the implication pretty obvious. The other NPC does flat out assume Nanako is his little sister.

It's kind of a neat detail, and this is before either of them really internalize the idea of having a sibling like bond with each other (this is all in April, when despite being cousins by blood they're still strangers to each other who aren't too close). The turning point where they start to internalize that idea comes shortly after this during Golden Week when Chie flat out gives Yu the title "Big Bro", after she invited Nanako to hang out with the Class 2-2 quartet (ie Yu's new inner circle with him, Chie, Yukiko, and Yosuke).
