I've just had one of the cutest interactions of my life.
My upstairs neighbours have a daughter, about 8-9 years old, who is currently learning the piano and is making steady progress, she's genuinely really good. Turns out, that she can also hear me singing along to some of the songs she plays sometimes. I bumped into her mother while I was taking the rubbish down and she told me about it and then asked for a little favour. Apparently her daughter has often seen my cat in my window sill and adores her, and she really wants a cat of her own but can't because her dad's allergic.
So guess who's just had a chat over some tea and biscuits while their neighbour cuddled with their cat?
