So far in my Buzz Lightyear tv series binge watch, this is my favorite visual moment from the show (from the episode Lost in Time). It reminds me of the TMS-animated segments from Animaniacs and Tiny Toon Adventures. 😂
Found the full scene on YouTube for better context:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHERRI STONER! 🌈
I was about to make a birthday post about her, but then I thought “I get the feeling that @timona-lisa already beat me to it.” 😅
Which is worse?
A bad Don Bluth film
A bad sequel to a Don Bluth film
This question sort of just popped into my head when I talked about All Dogs go to Heaven 2 about a week or two ago, and I thought it’d be an interesting topic to discuss.
As bad as something like A Troll in Central Park was (which is arguably Bluth’s worst film), at least it has decent animation going for it.

Hey, remember that time when I got into a gun fight and I shot up a car with a Tommy Gun while on a moving train?
A GRUESOME TWOSOME (1945) | dir. Robert Clampett
coming down from my trip and watching Rover Dangerfield. bizarre looking back on it how many 90s and 80s kids animated features had plots centered around drug dealing and gambling causing run-ins with the mob. This movie was clearly an attempt to emulate the magic that All Dogs Go to Heaven had, and its not there at all, but Rodney Dangerfield’s committed performance and the laughably bad animation at some moments does make for a great ride.
in this movie Rodney Dangerfield sings a song about how he’d never pee on a Christmas tree
Any time I see Rodney Dangerfield I always see him as a dog in my mind and I didn’t know if it came from a memory mixup of Genie’s impression of him in Aladdin or if he played a dog in All Dogs Go to Heaven. It was a wholeass real movie and I am not crazy! I’m gonna have to watch it now
This popped up in recommendations, and the moment I saw the thumbnail I knew exactly which trope they were talking about. 😂
I’m surprised while discussing The Road to El Dorado, they didn’t bring up the other (and more traditional) “liar revealed” moment of Miguel finding out about Tulio and Chel hooking up behind his back.
Anyway, how do you all feel about the “Liar Revealed” trope in 2026?
I don’t know if it’s just a glitch or a new thing, but on my end Facebook just added a dislike button option for comments. I totally don’t see this backfiring at all. 🙃

Angry, injured Vegeta masterpost
In no particular order
Have you seen Adventures from the Book of Virtues (1996-2000)?
Yes
Partially
No, but I've heard of it
Never heard of it
Arthur and The Magic School Bus are beloved animated PBS Kids classics (and rightfully so), but Adventures From the Book of Virtues deserves just as much love. I hardly ever see it brought up compared to the aforementioned shows.
(Thankfully the complete series can be found on Internet Archive)
Next up someone is going to claim that the Narnia series isn't kids books.
Kids books is probably not the best way to word it, you can enjoy them at every age, including your childhood, as you get older you may find new truths in them, but they're still good for any age.
I want you to understand this. I NEED you to understand this. My mother read me the hobbit as bedtime story, and I started pushing myself to read before pre-school so I could in fact read the hobbit for myself instead of having to wait for bedtime.
I didn't do so right away but jesus wept I PUSHED myself to learn to read SPECIFICALLY so I could read The Hobbit! It is, in fact, a children's story! And children only see page count as 'there is a lot of this fun story to read!'
