Does anyone remember the redwall tv series from like 2001. What if I get obsessed with that

I kind of like mario kart world's philosophy of being Different from mario kart 8. because like almost everyone who owns a switch probably already has mario kart 8 deluxe and can play it whenever, so world doing something actually new and unique is a good design decision. and the gameplay loops of the various modes is definitely compelling, if you approach it as its own thing. I think knockout tour makes mario kart world a lot more fun to play casually, because the moments of tranquility help spread the excitement throughout, instead of concentrating it in short bursts. my main problem with the game is just that a lot of the routes feel uninspired, and the connections between some of them feel a little jarring sometimes. "this is a country road. this is a desert. this is a city." the concept is interesting and the gameplay is engaging, but the content feels lacking sometimes

Growing up, older folks would always get confused when I expressed familiarity with media from their childhoods and would act incredulous when I attempted to explain the concept of reruns. They'd be like "How do you, a child of this fallen era, know of Looney Tunes" and I'd be like "Because it has never not been playing on television" and this would seem to be brand new information to them
