There are A LOT of iconic moments in The Lion King, but I just want to make an appreciation post for this moment towards the end of I Just Canât Wait to Be King:
I Just Canât Wait to Be King is my 2nd favorite song from the movieâs soundtrack (after Circle of Life) and I find it underrated since itâs not talked about as much as the other banger songs. I have a conspiracy theory that it has something to do with a certain video game level (iykyk). đ

To this day, Iâm still freaking pissed that almost no ever talks about Thrax when discussing their favorite Non-Disney animated villains! He has one of the coolest designs, and has one of the highest body counts in an animated kidâs movie!

What are some movies and/or shows that you watched as a kid that have gotten better over time AND ones that you used to enjoy but no longer do?
Three final thoughts:
1. Capping the entire trilogy off with the lamp salesman from the beginning of the first movie is so clever
2. This is a feel good ending through and through
3. Aladdin and Jasmine are gonna Fuck so damn hard just look at how horny that man lookin at his bride got daymn theyâre gonna go at it

Actually, no, I don't think that friendships dropping like flies in your late 20s and early 30s because no one has time for that between overwork and family obligations and marriage and kids and partners and the ritual of the time slayer is normal and ok. No I don't think deep conversations and spontaneous adventures being replaced with a tired coffee every six months is a normal part of growing up. I don't think that emotional intimacy and soul bonds disintegrating in the face of practical inconvenience is a fact of life. I think that means something is deeply deeply wrong with our society and I will never forgive it for the friends I've lost
Thinking about Tiny Toons Looniversity and how it just kinda came and went. I watched the series from beginning to end but if you asked me to summarize one of the episodes without looking it up, I don't think I could do it.
The Animaniacs reboot had it issues but I can still remember some funny moments from it. TTL just felt like it was in one ear and out the other. It was on for two seasons and did its thing and then it vanished into the night got canned.
On one hand, it's a little sad how quickly it was forgotten. On the other, don't turn one of the most iconic and chaotic cartoon couples into siblings. đ
