Tumbling (Step by Step)

I’m literally in the middle of the TV series portion of the video, and, let me tell you…the tonal whiplash between that and the first movie is astounding!

I’m sure I made a post about it in the past, but for some odd reason prior to the late 90s, I had only seen the sequels to Don Bluth’s 80s movies, so All Dogs 2 and the spin-off show were technically my introduction to the franchise. I didn’t see the 1st one in its entirety until summer 1999, and let me tell you, that was the biggest tonal whiplash I ever experienced as a kid. 😅

Random question: Who or what are some of your biggest comedic influences that define your sense of humor? (Whether it be specific comedians, shows, movies, characters, etc.)

Every time I go on r/lionking, I remember why I don't go on r/lionking. 🙃

It was also the directorial debut for animators Ron Clements and John Musker who would go on to direct The Little Mermaid (1989), Aladdin (1992), Hercules (1997), Treasure Planet (2002), The Princess and the Frog (2009), and Moana (2016).
