We're very lucky to have clouds, they didn't need to be there. Well they did probably but they didn't need to be so aesthetic. You can imagine a world where clouds are invisible, or they're just a featureless grey mist that sort of dulls the sky to varying degrees when it gets cloudy. But all the different shapes, sizes, all the different colours! The myriad ways the sunlight plays about them! They drift, they merge, they go crazy when the sun sets. If you'd never seen clouds you wouldn't think oh something's missing from the sky, the sky was already fine. But they're here, you just get all that for free.
