it feels right to say tho considering she died when I was 12. Three days before my 13th birthday fun fact so it fucked me up REALLLL bad and she was legit my role model too so it fucked me up even more-

when she was still alive she put up this free little pantry in the front of our yard that would be filled with snacks and stuff of which anybody could take from no matter who they were

I mentioned this briefly before but her dream when she was younger was apparently to be a clown.. her dream was legit to have a job where the whole point is making ppl happy and making them laugh-

she so easily accepted me when I came out to her as trans and even offered to buy me a binder-

also I say she was my gardener as a little joke because I’m a plant but she was actually a gardener fun fact I still remember the tomatoes she grew. Hell I still remember that one year where she tried growing pumpkins in our backyard and so we had hay all over the place too

I still remember that she was the reason why our yard was always so colorful. She would take empty cat food tins and make tiny mosaic art pieces on the bottoms of them. She loved gnomes so naturally we had a lot of them in the yard. Hell we even had a gnome shaped watering can!

she inspired me in a way I’m not even sure she realized because sometimes when I was younger I would scroll through the shared family photo album (it’s a digital one) and when I reached far enough I would find her artwork.

she had like. Three I think little comics of her life. They were really simplistic when it came to the artstyle.

but still those were one of my main inspirations when it came to art.

I still love reading through them.

I’ve dealt with grief before so. I should theoretically be fine? Right? but at the same time I’ve never dealt with THIS SPECIFIC THPE OF GRIEF.
