Quick lil drawing of my persona :3
Hey revel⊠thereâs a lot going on internationally and personally for me and I almost feel utterly hopeless. Iâm so depressed and I find a lot of comfort in transformers - could we see a comfort scenario with Starscream? Heâs my comfort character and I love how you write - keep up the good work and stay safe out there! Xx
Sure and hopefully things get better!
Warm
Starscream x Reader
âą Huffing out a breath when an arm hooks around your waist and drags you back, your head lifts. And the mass displaced seeker is laying down beside you on his front, a wing stretched over you. Briefly meeting his luminous optics in the dark room, you look away. Feeling and hearing him rumbling softly as he watches you. âIâm fine,â you mumble and he clears his vents to stir your hair. You hate that he can see as easily in the dark as the day, that thereâs no hiding your bitter expression.

Reasons to Return - Part 8
Despite the huge change in your relationship with Starscream, nothing actually seemed to change too drastically. Everyday life remained relatively the same since his confession, and it started to make you uneasy. You began to wonder if he actually knew what being in a relationship actually meant - in human culture, at least. You didnât have the guts to make any moves either, so the following days after the confession felt⊠stagnant.
You returned home after another boring day of work, and beelined for the backyard like usual. Starscream was hunched over a datapad under a tree, attempting to use his servo to shield the setting sun from obscuring the screen. You let out a sigh as you smiled, his expression so stern and focused. He seemed to be in his own mind palace, and you admired his dedication to⊠whatever it was he was reading.
Starscream heard your sigh and looked over, his wings twitching as his optics landed on you. His spark pulsed, and despite how tired you looked, he couldnât help but feel giddy at your presence. However, something about your energy remained off, and he hoped that it would have worn off by then. Ever since he confessed, you seemed distant, less talkative, and more solitary. It irritated him to no end, but every time he wanted to reach out and grab you, he kept remembering how afraid you were when you first met. Months of yearning, and now that he had what he wanted, he was utterly terrified. Not of you, but himself.
âHow was work?â Starscream asked, resting the datapad on the ground beside him.
âIt was fine,â you shrugged, sitting on the grass before Starscream. âHow was⊠being here all day?â
âIt was also⊠fine.â Starscream trailed off, looking elsewhere as his wings drooped.
Your chest throbbed, like you just wanted to curl into yourself. Was this how it was going to be? Perhaps the thrill of an interspecies relationship with an alien wasnât the exciting fantasy you imagined after all. Yet, despite that possibility, you still felt inexplicably drawn to Starscream. While you couldnât truly understand him, part of you wondered if he was drawn to you, too. You hoped with all your heart that he did, and that fate had this planned out from the start.
Just as you had started overthinking, Starscreamâs servo creeped into view, slowly and shakily. You looked up, and he held the underside of his servo to you, ushering you to climb on. You did so without any hesitation, and Starscream lifted you up to his faceplate.
You swallowed as his optic glow engulfed you, his lenses flickering as he scanned you.
âYouâre⊠pleasant to look at.â Starscream finally said, steadying your unease.
âN⊠Nuh uh,â you shook your head, your cheeks flushing in embarrassment. Why did you say that? âYouâre nice to⊠look at, too.â
âLetâs not start a debate,â Starscream chuckled, âAlthough, any form of talking with you is entertaining.â
âReally?â
Starscream nodded. He glanced away, âI have not enjoyed these last few days. We havenât talked⊠like we did before the other night.â
You arched your brows, sitting down in Starscreamâs palm before sighing.
âI noticed that tooâŠâ you placed a hand on Starscreamâs palm, stroking it in an attempt to calm yourself. âIâm scared.â
âWhat of?â
His optics were back on you, wider than usual. You could feel his servo shake a little, prompting you to stroke it more as you looked up at him.
âIâm scared of this not working out. I mean, look at us⊠youâre huge,â you chuckled weakly. You tried your hardest to keep the shake in your voice under control, but that made it worse. âYou canât live in my house permanently, because youâll drain too much of your own energy⊠plus, Iâm sure there are plenty of beautiful Cybertronians⊠so, why me?â
âHaving this kind of relationship with someone else was never a position I thought possible for myself. As second in command, my focus was entirely on my faction. Before the war, I was dedicated to science⊠but now, I donât have faith in my faction anymore, and science is far behind me. Iâm dedicated to you, and protecting you.â Starscream carefully brought his other servo over your head, carefully stroking your hair. âI will admit, I⊠am afraid of hurting you, human. Youâre so fragile, and Iâm terrified that, being a machine of war, harm is inevitable.â
âOh, StarâŠâ you hugged one of his digits tightly, âI trust you.â
âYou⊠trust me?â Starscream reeled back, his optics wide again.
âOf course I do, silly.â You laughed gently. âI wouldnât be sitting on your hand if I didnât. I wouldnât have fallen for you if I didnât.â
Starscreamâs spark felt as if it could explode. He pulled you to his faceplate, and you thought he was going to kiss you. Yet, he stopped. Was he scared?
You leaned forward, planting your hands on his chin as you gently kissed his derma. It was a strange sensation, but the uncanny give of his metal flesh against yours felt⊠strangely right.
Starscreamâs body stiffened. You were so warm against him, and he knew instantly that he would grow addicted to you, more so than he already was. He wished he could mass displace, but his energy was too low⊠but perhaps that was for the best, for you at least.
You couldnât help but laugh as you pulled away, Starscreamâs facial expression completely flabbergasted. Your laugh snapped him out of his daze, earning you a frown from him as he looked away.
âPest!â he exclaimed, his faceplate shifting to a slight pink hue.
âYou donât mean that.â You teased.
Starscream was quiet for a moment before grumbling. âI donâtâŠâ
âDo you want to watch TV with me tonight?â You asked, finally feeling calm about the relationship.
âI canâtâŠâ Starscream vented, âI donât have enough energy to mass displace. I would love to, though.â
âWell, what ifâŠâ you motioned for Starscream to place you on the ground, and he did.
He watched as you ran into your house, coming back out a few minutes later with a strange device and a large sheet. You hung the sheet up on the clothesline, then lined up the machine from the other side of the yard.
âI can bring entertainment out here!â You stood proudly with your hands on your hips as you turned on the projector, illuminating the sheet into a makeshift movie screen.
âPrimitave, yet impressive.â Starscream huffed.
You ran back into your house and into your room, grabbing a blanket before running back out. You climbed onto Starscreamâs thigh, wrapping yourself in the blanket as you browsed what to watch. After deciding on a sitcom, you tossed the remote to the ground and snuggled into Starscreamâs hips and waist.
âYou seem excited.â Starscream observed, his attention entirely on you as he pretended to watch the show.
âI havenât had an excuse to use that projector yet,â you smiled up at Starscream, âI think this is the perfect time.â
Starscream let out a vent as he smiled back at you.
Episode after episode, Starscream had lost further and further understanding of what was going on. You nestled into the front-side of his hip, balancing on his thigh - transferring warmth from you to him. He hovered a servo on your side, just in case you slid off somehow. Didnât want to outright place his servo over you, in fear of coming off as inappropriate. He was kicking himself internally for not stocking up on more energon - for if he could have mass displaced at that moment, he wouldâve been holding you in his arms on your couch.
You fell asleep about three episodes in, and Starscream was quietly panicking what to do with you. He knew it was too cold for you to sleep outside all night, even in the blanket. He carefully picked you up, placing you on a soft patch of grass before assessing his own vitals. He had just enough energon to mass displace, carry you into your room, then leave. He took a deep vent before he mass displaced, making quick haste with you.
You were startled awake as your bedroom doorframe collided with your head, prompting you to yelp and raise your hands to your head.
âScrap, are you alright?â Starscream asked, his voice higher than usual as he stopped walking.
âHuh⊠wait,â you looked around before meeting Starscreamâs face, the reality setting in that you were being carried bridal style. âWhatâs going on?â
âYou fell asleep, and⊠look, Iâll explain tomorrow, I donât have time for this.â Starscream barged into your room, dumping you on your bed before he panicked again, holding your head in his hands as he tried to check for any injuries.
âIâm fine,â you giggled as he inspected you like a chimpanzee for lice. âIâll just have a bit of a bruise.â
Starscreamâs wings dropped behind him. You could see how dejected he felt as he looked at the developing egg on your head.
You raised your hand up and cupped his cheek, âIt was an accident. I know you didnât mean to.â
His servo hovered over your hand for a moment before something between you shifted. He leaned over you, stopping just short from your lips.
âIs this okay?â he whispered, the shake in his voice sending shivers through you.
You stroked his cheek with your thumb, parting your lips as you nodded. You guided him down, your hand reaching from his cheek to the back of his helm, tracing over the delicate seams in his armour. Your heart was beating so loudly in your ears as the space between you closed.
Starscreamâs fans kicked on as soon as his lips collided with yours. Your heart stopped for a moment as reality settled in. Everything outside of that moment felt nonexistent as you wrapped your other arm around his neck. Starscreamâs fans got louder as he deepened the kiss momentarily before parting away, his optics dim as you caught your breath.
âI really⊠I really need to goâŠâ Starscream trembled, stumbling over his peds as he retreated to the window.
You simply nodded as you watched him climb through the window, mass displacing as soon as he exited the house.
One of his optics peeked through the window, âI⊠didnât mind thatâŠâ
âN⊠Neither did I,â your laugh was breathier than usual. âUm⊠Thank you for taking me in. You⊠didnât have to risk yourself for me.â
âNonsenseâŠâ
The two of you stared at each other for a long moment, both yearning for that intimacy again.
âWait there.â Starscream demanded, but before you could question him, he had transformed and flown off. You ran to the window.
âStar?â You shouted, but he was nowhere to be seen. You took a deep breath as you sat back on your bed, your hand over your chest as you tried to calm your heartbeat.
It must have been about five minutes before you heard the unmistakable shifting of metal, but before you could even stand up, mass displaced Starscream was hoisting himself through your window.
âStar⊠where did youâŠâ
He didnât even let you finish your sentence before pulling you tight against him, kissing you hungrily before stumbling on top of you, caging you between him and your bed. He might not have been the best kisser, but that didnât matter because⊠it was Starscream.
âStar,â you whined against his derma, âI need to breatheâŠâ
He pulled away, a smirk plastered over his derma.
âKeep up, human.â he chuckled.
âIâve⊠Iâve started you on something, havenât I?â You laughed nervously.
âIâm nothing if ambitious.â His smug smirk widened as he leaned in again, running his servo through your hair as he kissed you again.

Reasons to Return Part 4
Eyes still closed, you could feel a soft, electric thrum under your body. Half asleep, you tried to figure out where you were. As you opened your eyes slowly, you remembered - you fell asleep outside. At some point during the night, you mustâve either crawled onto Starscreamâs chassis, or he nestled you there himself. It seemed more likely that you crawled there, you thought, until you shifted and found your lower body trapped beneath a blue servo. Sitting up cautiously, you looked around before yawning. Starscream, sprawled out on his back, filled out your little yard like it was his own bed. You peeked at his wings, flat against the dewy grass and wondered if it was uncomfortable for him. As you trailed to his faceplate, you figured that wasnât the case⊠his intake was wide open, a quiet, mechanical sound emitting from it that you could only describe as a mechanical mimicry of snoring.
You laid back down slowly, wondering how you managed to sleep an entire night on cold glass and metal. You shivered, nuzzling yourself under Starscreamâs servo in an attempt to get warm.
Like an old computer starting up, systems clicking and buzzing rose in pitch and volume, then Starscream sat up, cupping you in his servo. You held onto one of his digits tightly, clenching your jaw as you were lifted up.
âPest,â Starscream growled, his voice slightly deeper than usual. âWhy are you moving so much?â
âAh, um⊠sorry, I just woke upâŠâ
Starscream vented, his optic ridge furrowed as he stared down at you.
âJust for your information, you insisted on climbing onto me.â
âI donât remember doing thatâŠâ
âI am aware that some humans sleep-talk. Perhaps that is what happened.â Starscream slowly lowered you to the ground before he stood up, his form blocking the sun.
âYeah, maybe youâre right,â you smiled to yourself as you turned to go inside. âIâm going to have some food. Do you⊠need to refuel? What do you⊠eat?â
âEnergon,â he said matter-of-factly. Like you should know. âI have⊠a source. Do not worry.â
âAlright, just⊠let me know if I can do anything for you.â
You walked into your kitchen, leaning over the sink to open up the window. As you filled the kettle with water, Starscreamâs red glow filled your kitchen.
âI am glad to see that you are more inclined to serve me than my own kind. I will be sure to appoint you with high status when I become king.â
âMe? Star, you donât want a human following you around on Cybertron.â
âWell, youâve proven superior to the other humans here. As I am superior to the other Cybertronians.â
âSuperiorâŠ?â you pulled your hands to your chest, running your fingers over your knuckles as you looked around. âIâm not, Iâm just⊠relatively normal. I think.â
Starscream laughed, âDonât be stupid. You donât blatantly hate me. You talk to me on the same level as you would anyone else.â
âUm⊠Thank you, Starscream. It really does⊠mean a lot.â
Starscream didnât respond. He pulled away from the window, looking up at the sky in an attempt to appear nonchalant.
You made some toast, a cup of tea, and headed back out to sit beside him.
âThe Autobots have a baseâŠâ you started against your better judgement. âDo⊠you have one that you return to?â
Starscream tensed up, âItâs⊠complicated, human.â
âYou can tell me. Iâve got time to hear it.â
Starscream looked down at you, his optics wide, and his derma parted. He vented, bringing his knees up to his chassis before he explained everything. Megatron, and the abuse he received from him. How basically every Decepticon hated or bullied Starscream, except for his trine, but even they gave him hard times. He even mentioned life before war, how he was a scientist. How he had friends that respected him and his ideas. He talked of Cybertron, his optics brightening as he regaled the open skies and the labyrinthian cities.
âThese last few months⊠I feel as though I am closer to my old self than I have been in a millenia. Itâs a little frightening, to tell the truth.â He vented, his wings drooping in time with him. His optics looked through the horizon, to something far, far away from Earth.
âI kind of get what you mean. I know that weâre extremely different, but⊠Iâve had similar experiences.â
Starscream looked over to you. âReally?â
You nodded.
âThat is⊠comforting, I suppose. Knowing that my experience isnât so⊠anomalous. A million years, weâve been at this⊠and its effects are bleeding out of me so quickly. Itâs a little daunting.â
âIt would be. I canât imagine being at war for so long. And I thought the 100 year war was longâŠâ
â100 year war?â Starscream leaned his helm against his knees, looking at you with half-shuttered optics. âTell me more.â
You smiled softly before telling him what you could remember about the 100 year war. He listened intently, nodding along as you explained what started it, why it lasted so long, and all of the other important details.
âHuman history is much richer than I expected⊠IâŠâ Starscream growled through gritted denta before he looked over at you. He averted his optics, âI have to admit, against my better judgement, that I⊠enjoy this.â
âMe too,â you smiled, your cheeks growing warm at his statement. âYouâre a strange addition to my life⊠but itâs a good kind of strange.â
You sat up, brushing grass off of your clothes before picking up your plate and cup. Yet, in between leaning over and picking up those dishes, the giant form that is Starscream seemed to disappear. When you stood up, large, metallic fingers brushed over your own before taking the dishes away from you. Before you, standing at an almost-human size, stood Starscream, looking anywhere but you as his wings flicked.
âWh⊠Huh? YouâŠâ you tilted your head, looking him up and down. âWhat? How?â
âItâs called mass displacement. Now step aside.â Starscream pushed past you, his wings folding behind him so as not to hit you.
Your mouth opened to speak, but you had nothing to say. You just followed him into your house, the sight of him having to duck through doorways and tuck in his wings was oddly⊠adorable. He stopped in front of your sink, placing the dishes in before filling it with warm water. You simply just stood there and watched his arms move in circular motions as he scrubbed the dishes before placing them into the drying rack. There was a strange serenity in the way he looked at his work, his own servos doing such mundane tasks. You stiffened up as he turned to you, swallowing hard as you shakily handed him a hand towel.
âI figure that it is unfair for me to just watch you do your chores.â Starscream explained, puffing out his chassis in pride.
âWow, umâŠâ you peered over at the dishes - he did an awful job. Sticky, soapy chunks of jam stuck to the plate, and there was a clear stain in the cup from the tea. âThank you, Star⊠it means so much.â
âI donât typically mass displace. I found it to be useless, but⊠I suppose it has its benefits, after all.â
You went to speak, but a knock at the door cut you off. You looked to the front door, then back at Starscream.
âUm, feel free to like, go to the lounge room or something, just stay out of sight. Iâll go answer the door.â
Starscream grumbled, then made his way to the lounge room. His optics trailed over several framed photos of you - you as a child, as a teenager, and more recent ones. Several life events, and while you changed drastically over the years, some features remained constant through it all. Starscream stopped in his path, studying your face in each photo.
âFascinatingâŠâ he mumbled to himself. He picked up one photo, bringing it closer to his faceplate. He scanned it, studying each detail like he would a petri dish or microscopic sample.
âHello?â you opened the door, looking up to see the bright blue glow of Jazzâs optics. He, too, seemed to have mass displaced to fit better on your porch.
âHey doll. Just thought Iâd stop by, see how youâre goinâ...â
âOh, Jazz!â
Starscreamâs wings tensed up, standing tall behind him as he snapped his helm toward the front door. You stepped out, leaving the door open ajar.
âIâm doing fine, thank you for checking!â
âThat pleases me,â he smirked, âI was wonderinâ if you wanna go out for a drive or somethinâ, if youâre down.â
As you opened your mouth to politely decline, a wave of hot air rolled over your back.
âTheyâre busy.â Starscream hissed, his talon grip splintering the door as he opened it wide, looming over you with his wings flared out like cobra.
âStarscream?â Jazz took a step back, his derma open as he flared out his own door wings.
âUm, StarscreamâŠâ you whispered as you turned your head. âI told you to stay out of sight!â
Jazz straightened his posture and puffed out his chassis, âIâll give ya one chance to come out here and face me Starscream.â
âStarscream has been⊠visiting me, I guess. I promise that Iâm not in any danger, Jazz.â You raised your hands in an attempt to calm both Jazz and Starscream.
âYou⊠knew he was here? Whatâs goinâ on?â Jazzâs body relaxed a little as he tilted his helm.
âI donât⊠really know,â you turned slowly to Starscream, who remained firm in his stance. âStar?â
Jazz approached the door again, standing over you as he and Starscream stared each other down. After a few long, tense moments, Starscream muttered something in that ear-piercing language. Jazz responded, and as the two communicated, you had to cover your ears before they started ringing.
After a few minutes, Jazz finally stepped back, giving you some breathing space after being caged between the two. He looked down, that signature smirk painted on his face.
âRight, well, Iâll come back another time, darl. You know where to find us.â He then looked up at Starscream again, âHe can come too, if he needs.â
âOh,â you quickly looked at Star, then back to Jazz, and bowed your head. âThank you, Jazz. Iâll go out for a ride with you another time.â
âGotcha.â Jazz clicked his glossa before swiftly transforming, speeding off into the horizon. You let out a relieved huff before turning to Starscream, who was glaring down at you with those unnerving optics.
âHe was making an advance on you.â He said bluntly.
âWhat? No!â You laughed, âDonât be silly! He just finds humans fascinating, thatâs all.â
âRight⊠believe what you want.â
âHey, I donât think your kind would be interested in humans anyway,â you ranted as you walked past him and into the lounge room. âUm, in the romantic way, I mean.â
Starscream followed slowly, his optic ridge furrowed as he looked anywhere but you.
You threw yourself onto your lounge, leaning back lazily as you grabbed the remote. âWanna watch TV?â
With your other hand, you patted the spot next to you. Starscream tilted his helm as he slowly sat down, careful to keep distance between his thigh and yours.
âTV?â
âHuman entertainment,â you switched on, and there was a gameshow playing. âI like some of these types of shows. Tests your trivial knowledge.â
âI suppose Iâll indulge in Earthly activities.â Starscream crossed his arms, leaning back carefully, careful to not hit you with his wings.
You looked over at Starscream when the ad break began, and he had a small, faint smile on his faceplate.
âMy brother would love this.â He said quietly. He turned his helm to you, attempting to tone down his smile as he continued. âHe loves human entertainment. Thinks he can introduce this culture to our own kind⊠I think heâd be great at making this kind of thing.â
âHave you told him that?â You asked, your voice gentle against the hyperactive ads.
Starscream thought for a moment, leaning over and resting his elbows on his knees. He stared at the ground, âI donât believe I have.â
âYou should.â you suggested, placing a hand on his shoulder. His plating was warm, and the gesture felt much more intimate compared to when he was at his true size.
Starscream turned his helm away from you, his voice quiet. What he said was barely legible;
âMaybe youâre right.â
