Hanna’s Spino (Hannaspinos Splendidis transuniversalis) is a species of Universe Hopping “Spinosaur”. On Palubolígo this animal is considered to belong to the clade Modicospinidae, but it is not certain if this is true as this animal used to travel through a Realm Gate into the swamps of another universe’s planet and inly returned to Palubolígo to lay eggs. This behaviour stopped in recent years as its preferred Realm Gate dissolved.

Hanna’s Spinos are very friendly friendly animals known to aggregate in large groups and sing songs in groups. These animals are very social and quite willing to adopt babies of even unrelated species like the Levi’s Runfisher. Not much is known of this animal as it is found only around one lake of the Southern Floating Mountain of Archipell. Lake Quien’zee-thra-qurruu has for a long time been considered off limits for Earth Human exploration due to an unknown hostile Demon taking residence there. Sometimes Hanna’s Spino are found after they fall off of the great waterfall and survive the impact.

The Stilloi (Cicondraco Stilti) is a medium sized Stiltodrakyiine Paluazhdarchid and is very common in the North East of Hech and the Ponelis Savannah. The Supergenus Cicondraco has only the Genus Stilti, but multiple species depending on the area they are found in. The two main localities are the Ponelis Savannah (which holds C. S. stilti and C. S. ponelis) and the Siman Forest (which holds C. S. simanus, C. S. grandis, C. S. ferox and C. S. gracilis).

The Stilloi is a highly aggressive animal, the two species of the Ponelis Savannah are mostly scavenger bullies and are known to attack smaller hunters and bully larger ones off of their kills. In this case the Stilloi’s fear of fire prevents it from approaching the Zrai’s kill.

Palubolígolian Brown Vulture (Cadaveravis Campestribus) is the most abundant Palubolígolian vulture. These animals gather around poaching sites and black markets, where they eat scarps. Because these birds are mostly stationary they don’t require much flying space, which makes them very good meat birds. Multiple Sophonts eat these birds, they are staple diet of the Zraul Folk, the Tukku Korvid Folk and on occasion the Gore. These birds grow very quickly and do not care for their young after fledging, young fledgling wander away from their paretal colonies en masse to establish new ones, at this stage many are hunted by predators.

Harriette Vulture (Cadavereavis Harriette) is one of the largest true Palubolígolian Vultures. These birds are not very common, they were first found living amongst the Harriette tribe of Gore (Harriette means ‘Of the Tower Stone Forest’ which reffers to the Anthill Towers). These birds respond very well to falconry and lead their Gore companions to fresh carcasses. Unlike the Brown Vulture, these birds grow slowly and take care of their young even after fledging. Their meat is much leaner and tougher too, making them less favourable meat birds.

The Duku (Paluvaranus Duku) is a small insectivorous terrestrial Paluvaranid often found near scavenging sites. Like many terrestrial species the Duku is commonly seen performing tripodal behaviour, seen in the Argus Monitor of Earth as well. On Palubolígo this behaviour distinguishes members of Paluvaranidae into two separate groups, the derived terrestrial and the basal semiaquatic members. Perhaps surprisingly all known species of Paluvaranids belong to the Supergenus Paluvaranus, even the Sophont Shzru (Paluvaranus Morgor shrzu).

The Yellowhead Quetz (Vulturodraco Ponelis) is the first ever seen Paluazhdarchid, hence the generic name. During the first exploration of Palubolígo the similar fauna and flora of Hech to that of Earth was believed to be because they were literally related. This hypothesis was disproven after the first genetic studies showing Palubolígolian Life to be unrelated to Earth life.

The Yellowhead Quetz are highly social animals, living in large mixed sex flocks with vultures and sometimes other carrion Paluazhdarchids. Like other species dubbed Quetz this species is also a Hidden-neck Paluazhdarchid, meaning they are able to fold their necks in a similar way to Herons of Earh.

Egglaying Giant Pangolin (Monotremesmuthia Ponelis) is a large Palumonotreme found across the Ponelis Savannah. These animals resemble Pangolins of Earth, but they also have similar Paluplacental relatives called the Pantherangolins, which are predatory and do not feed mostly on eusocial insects and carrion.

This animal is known to break into the large Termite Ant anthills and make deep caves inside, for this ability the Gore forcibly keep them as members of their group. The Gore are attempting to domesticate this animal for multiple purposes, one being a strong pack animal capable of defending itself and cargo and two being its ability to make safe dens underground to escape forest fires.

The Bonesnapper (Cikgrai Goreamoris) is a small Psittacoterrorid Paluceratopsian found in the Ponelis Savannah following behind nomadic Gore.

The Psittacoterrorids are a basal group of Paluceratopsians and are more common, than the shield headed Hastacerrans. Their bipedal stature and omnivory makes them more fit in many of the open habitats of Hech, and the lack of a frill makes them less threatening for conspecifics and related species leading to fewer deaths from territorial fights. This is not true for the largest members which are shielded and horned.

Interestingly most Paluceratopsians are omnivorous with some like the Cikgrai being carnivorous, though it is not alone among its relatives.

The Duhrug or Corpse Hog (Osmagodon Gore) is a relatively small Paluentelodontid, though among Earth taxa its 800kg makes it larger than the average Daeodon. This animal is part of the Social Scavenger group, but rarely scavenges - this predator hunts other scavengers, which aren’t a part of it’s group. Duhrug bond to a Scavenger Crew and defend it ferociously, they will attack any creature attempting to infiltrate the group, be it a small Nikirichi or a large Pangolin. While beneficial in the short run, as the Crew fractured due to a lack of new members the Duhrug is forced to locate a larger group.

While not aggressive against Earth Humans, this animal can influct nasty bites even while non-threatened. Its jaws rival Earth Hippos in strength and their teeth are long and robust.

The Bonebill (Palubucorvus Gore) is a large Clawed Bird native to the Ponelis Savannah and multiple species of the Supergenus can be also found in the Midraib region and the Siman Forest.

Like other Social Scavengers, this bird also a highly social animal, they can be usually seen patrolling in groups of 7-9 individuals, hunting small prey or collecting fruit and seeds. They are known for swallowing bone and perhaps surprisingly the skulls of dead animals. While they are a common sight among the Gore scavenger crew, these birds are usually seen without other scavenger species around.

Robust Hyaena (Palucrocuta Gore robustus) is one of the largest hyaenas of Palubolígo. These animals can weigh anywhere between 100 and 300 kilograms. Unlike Earth Spotted Hyaenas, this highly social species shows little to no infighting and their social structure is much less based on domination and more on interpersonal communication. All members are equal in the pecking order (the cubs are fed first though) as they are a Social Scavenger - they live with the Gore, which means they also are highly social with different species.

The Robust Hyaena is actually a domesticated species, though it is monotypic in phenotype and seem to be the second oldest domesticated animal the Gore live with. While uncommon, these animals are known to eat humans, if they startle them during feeding, but if one has a good relationship with their leading Gore, these animals will be calm and might even let humans pet their cubs.

The Hound Hawk (Nidoaquil Gore familiaris) is a small domesticated Raptorid, which lives with the Gore Blakgai. Their ancestors were nest parasites, but their young inprinted on the highly social Gore and became their pets and companions.

There are multiple “land races” of this species, the one shown is the Ponelis Packhawk, a race bred mostly for packing and carrying specific objects. These animals are also highly intelligent and can be trained to give their bonded gore specific tools on command.
