pulchritude (n.)

This past month (September-October) has been rough for me. On Sept. 16, my mother died from lung cancer. She was my last surviving parent, my dad dying of the same illness two years prior. Her death was the most painful thing I’ve experienced so far and it made me mentally unwell. I tried to be okay but that mentality wasn’t doing anything good for me.

I’ve been keeping to myself in my house, with my siblings. Things are hard to adjust and stuff, but the silence is slowly becoming a norm. I don’t think I’ll ever heal from this but I’ll probably just end up being ‘okay’ for the time being until I ever completely feel happy again.

Nevertheless, I still want this blog to be active. Roleplaying seems to be the one thing I can escape with from the real world (other than reading). If anyone is interested in RPing (even if it isn’t with my current cast of characters), feel free to message me. I find myself doing Discord RP because it’s more manageable I guess. I won’t be doing a lot of threads, unless it’s with people who I’ve been RPing with for a long time now. But I’m open to new things. Let me know, browse my blog, see what we can come up with.
