Oh hi yea I'm still alive

Things have been tough since dad passed and I've been all mixed up and out of balance and stressed beyond what's normal for me

I'm not really looking forward to the holidays, it's not the same without dad. We aren't even doing presents this year, I dunno if we're even putting up the tree

Thanksgiving too. I'm bringing a pecan pie to try and keep dad's tradition alive, but then we have this tradition where each person writes down what they're thankful for and they get read aloud. My aunt pulled together all of dad's memorable ones and framed them for mom. They were all about his health, and family and a good life. I don't know if we're gonna do them this year. Dad was always a big part of family gatherings so it was really hard for mom's side when he died too

I keep having bad dreams of cancer and dying and they just won't stop and now I'm scared to go to sleep.

As if I couldn't sleep already, add anxiety to the bedtime mix and I just wind up laying here crying until the sunrises.

I've tried so much already, essential oils, meditation, yoga, working out until exhaustion, natural sleep pills, sometimes allergy medicine works. Everything short of prescription sleep pills or a weighted blanket

It's always my fault

The day crew at work drops the ball and I'm the one who gets chewed out.

Even if I make it know to the person getting ingredients and supplies I won't get what I need until a good week later. This is ridiculous! There's no respect around her at all and everything keeps falling to me to make it right. I'm already doing that at the restaurant still and now I gotta do it here, it's fucking stressful!

Jason is such a little prick. He refuses to sleep in the living room while the boys room is being redone so instead he takes moms twin bed forcing her to sleep on an air mattress on the floor when her arthritis is already bad enough

How selfish can you get?
