I can't believe this is how I'm finding out that I got a scam forklift cert.
I took the cargo ops class at school but my teacher explained that it doesn't give a certification and I'd only be okay for ship's crane and the school forklifts. she said I could take an online exam and get my cert. I paid 60 bucks.
I'm googling and I'm seeing a lot of resources saying that the online programs cover the classroom part of the exam but not the in person practical aspect.

but I did the in person practical shit at school.
the back of the card even had fancy numbers on it. I couldn't have known that this isn't the one. this website sounded more official than certifyme.net, and there wasn't one with a .gov address.
so, I emailed OSHA, and they said that so long as I live and work in California, there's no such thing as forklift certification. I have to be told how to do it every time I get the job.
Update: I took a certification class in shipboard Material Handling Equipment at my federal job. *now* I'm forklift certified, but only on ships and piers and only for this company, but also rated to forklift explosives and hazardous materials. Also I'm a woman now.

ok I haven't noticed anyone else point this out, but I'm sure SOMEONE else has seen this so i'm making the rare text post to prove I'm not crazy. In part 1 of Misericorde, when you're taking the cart down with Sr. Moira and Sr. Eustace, the location tag changes on one of moira's lines - it changes from something like "Traveling" to "LIAR". I SOMEHOW DIDN'T SCREENCAP IT THOUGH. so if you saw this too please let me know I'm not crazy, and lmk if there are any other instances of this that I failed to miss. I want to know what Moira specifically said that made Meta Hedwig change the location to liar!!

Chainsaw Man's ending left me a bit disappointed when I first read it, but by now I've come to like it. I can respect writing/drawing absurd, over the top scenarios that keep escalating more and more and somewhat losing the plot. It just wasn't the type of story you can theorize about upcoming twists, because they probably were developing as it went. This is fine, just a matter of expectations.
The reveal of Yoru's feelings actually being for America instead of Denji was not narratively satisfying at all. But it was also the funniest shit I ever read and tells me everything I need to know about Fujimoto. The whole thing has a Punk-ish character. Blatant political messaging and fun, fast-paced action that both get my blood pumping.
As for Fujimoto going for a Big Lebowski-esque ending? Sure. Chainsaw Man abides.
