Another party, another excuse for Jal to get fucked up. At this point it was deserved, right? In real life, Halloween was their favorite holiday. But here it was hell.Â
Their costume was lazy, a leopard print jumpsuit with an obnoxious fur shawl (not leopard print) and multiple thickly layered gold necklaces. Her hair was tied into two buns for ears, a beta-exclusive braided bun style that she never wore because she didnât like being seen as a beta tester. As was the style in the 2010s, she had looped little gold âpiercingsâ into her hair for swag purposes. Large gold hoops dangled from her ears as she danced, the chunky black and gold bracelets sheâd stolen from a store on 52 banging against each other carelessly as she swayed.
The most intricate sheâd gone was with leopard-style makeup, a look sheâd bought from a crafter earlier today at a much higher price than it should have been for the sake of ease. Treats from Venus had been how she started the night, and then sheâd just kept drinking until she wasnât self conscious about how much effort everyone else had put into their costumes.
Blaq loved Halloween, everything leading up to the day of always felt different. The air, the people everything felt different. She had many plans and ideas for the bash, she never needed a reason to dress up or party, the entirety of her exposed skin painted in smooth black matte body paint, her face brushed in skeletal design. It took time for the her costume to match her concept, but something about the silver chain around her waist pulled together the haunted cowgirl look she was going for, and her pride in it It could be seen in her walk (as always) in the dancing she was doing, and music she was feeling, Blaq was having a good time.Â
It was no secret that she wasnât in a rush to leave the game, contrary to her twin, but she was living a fun, happy, accepting life in this virtual world. And the most important person to her was here, alive, well and pissed, but she was still here. And if Blaq could live in this moment forever, she very well would. She stepped back just for a second, turning to dance with whoever was around her. A bottle of rum in hand, slightly raised and a bit unfocused, it took her just a second to recognize who she near, squinting a bit. âThanatos?â She smiled, nodding at their outfit, making them slightly homesick. âCute... Very-- insightful city-ish.â
