HUGS 101: Ah, the intricacies of hugging… so many pitfalls… is someone going in for a hug? Or one of those platonic cheek kisses? Misjudge, lean in too far, and they might end up kissing your ear instead. And how does a short person with glasses handle being hugged by an overly enthusiastic tall person?

A.) Kindly, gently, and politely inform them they are crushing your glasses into your face.

B.) Remain silent and deal with the pain! less you ruin the moment and risk making the other person even slightly embarrassed.
