I was never really consciously trying to ‘find my style’ to be honest, so I guess I’ll just describe my art journey or something?? :vso, I started, weirdly enough, with 'realism’ (I was like 10 lol) but then, of course I transitioned into manga and shit, aaaand my current style just started to slooooowly appear over the years as I grew more and more comfortable with drawing. and honestly, if I have to pick, I think that’s the key to finding your art style? just be comfortable with what you draw, try not to overanalize things and try to draw only for yourself, draw what you find appealing, experiment with different things and just practice a lot, reallyoh and I found that after I learned basics like anatomy and started doing figure drawing and realistic portraits to practice, my style really truly appeared for me? like, everything felt more natural or something? more flowy (I have no idea how to describe that) so that might help too maybe? :v
