There is NO WRONG WAY to be punk. you just have to be KIND, CONSIDERATE, and OPEN-MINDED while doing it.

You DON'T need a jean jacket

You DON'T need piercings

You DON'T need tattoos

You DON'T need combat boots

You DON'T need a leather jacket with sharp studs in the shoulders

You DON'T need to smoke cigarettes

You DON'T need to look tough or intimidating

You DON'T need to wear torn up jeans

You DON'T need to be dark and edgy

You DON'T have to be aggressive

You DON'T have to be violent

You can have these things and still be punk, but you don't have to have them. Just be you, and do what makes you happy and comfortable.

You DO need to be nice

You DO need to be kind

You DO need to be open-minded

You DO need to be supportive of others

You DO need to be your genuine self

You DO need to be who you are and want to be
