she’s  not  sure  what’s  worse  about  2010  —  the  fact  that  the  jonas  brothers  are  still  on  the  outs,  or  that  technology  is  only  a  step  above  stone  tablets.  her  phone’s  basically  a  pretty  looking  brick  and  mostly  useless  ever  since  they  pulled  a  BACK  TO  THE  FUTURE  and  stumbled  into  the  past.   she  knows  the  rules,  knows  she’s  supposed  to  be  as  inconspicuous  as  possible  and  keep  her  secrets,  but  that  won’t  stop  her  from  scoping  out  the  hotspots  in  mystic  falls  that  she’s  only  ever  read  about  in  history  books.   everything’s  different.   from  the  town  square,  to  the  salvatore  mansion  (  not  school  )   to  the  mystic  grill  where  she  currently  finds  herself.   elbows  rest  against  the  bartop  as  she  leans  forward,  inspecting  the  labels  on  some  of  the  bottles.   booze,  at  least,  has  stayed  pretty  consistent.   when  she  gets  her  bourbon,  on  the  rocks  because  she’s  a  psychopath,  she  knocks  it  back  salvatore  style  before  turning  to  the  person  closest  to  her.   “  hey,  you. ”   she  reaches  out,  touching  their  elbow.   “  buy  me  a  drink,  and  i’ll  give  you  the  winning  powerball  numbers.  you’ll  have  to  wait  for  2030  to  play  but  trust  me  —  twenty  six  million  dollars  is  worth  the  wait. ”

                       at  the  touch  of  skin  to  skin  with  the  train  of  words  to  follow  ,  elena  would  shift  her  body  weight  to  face  the  stranger  who  seemed  far  too  invested  in  getting  a  drink  .  it  wasn't  odd  for  women  to  seduce  men  to  get  them  to  pay  their  drinks  .  this  was  however  the  first  time she  became  the  one  to  be  asked  .  what  made  her  even  more  odd  and  out  of  the  ordinary  was  her  bold  claim  to  know  the  future  .  whether  she  was  drunk  beyond  her  means  or  telling  the  truth  ,  it  was  easier  to  few  her  as  a  fool  who  had  too much  to  drink  .                   ‘       first  of  all  ,  odd  request  .  second  of  all  ,  shouldn't  you  be  drinking  less  ??  no  one  can  predict  the  future  .        ’            elena  was  concerned  for  the  female  .  it  was  easy  to  become  the  prey  as  a  female  individual  who  was  drunk  .

                   kol had been gone for sometime , san francisco wouldn’t have been his first choice but it was almost as if something was calling out to him. he couldn’t exactly pinpoint what it was but it was almost as if he had been compelled to be there and he knew compulsion wasn’t a great feeling —- or so he had been told.  he sat in a park , alone — like he had been for the past year and let out an audible sigh as he heard someone approach him.  “ it’s been a lovely day , try not to ruin it. “  though he was counting the seconds of true bliss he had left.
