Three months later, we stand at the end of the Pro.J road and thank you for your involvement over the course of the project! This is, however, only the beginning for your muses, as they are now successfully set to debut in the two project groups. Promotions are scheduled to begin in October, with the girls releasing their song first and the boys following, a pattern that will repeat thereafter. We have tentatively scheduled 3 songs for each group, with a wrap on their promotions in March, though this may be adjusted in the future to account for debuting trainee groups and attempts not to have muses promoting two songs at the same time. For more information, head below the cut!
BASICS.Â
For the purposes of headcanons, there were no votes on the final episode, just a final round of performances geared for the judges to determine positions and capabilities for the contestants as a whole.Â
Spots that open in the groups will NOT be reservable after debut. If someone drops theyâre simply removed and one can assume an NPC in their place.Â
As a result, to avoid confusion, group information and so on will only be listed on this blog.Â
Over the next week weâll be updating this blog in various ways to prepare it for this new phase of the Produce Project. When we have more completed there weâll let you know!Â
As debuted project idols, trainees will be able to purchase more from the shop than they were previously capable of doing, though there are some avenues which weâll still limit for their future debuts. For instance, brand endorsements will be given to the project groups as a whole, but minor commercials and various photoshoots/spreads/covers could be purchased at this point.Â
They are now eligible to participate in the subplot varieties and weâd actually highly encourage it, itâs something that would give them a lot of exposure and be perfectly reasonable given their status.Â
You are now able to add exp for the number of episodes you participated in, up to 30 exp for those who were actively involved in all three episodes. (10 for one episode, 20 for two, etc). Link this post on your points tracker.Â
GIRLâS DEBUT : PROLOGUE
Debuting under the name Prologue, the female outfit from Produce Project has been noted for their sweet, fresh visuals, quirky charms, and a surprisingly solid vocal line to come out of something that is essentially a popularity contest. A lot of eyes are on Minyoung and Ryu Myungeun in particular, as they proved themselves standout vocalists but neither were included in the recent debut lineup of the 99 group Glimmer. The MSG trainee girls are drawing a lot of attention for their performance abilities and quirky charms, being dubbed stan attractors within the group already. Jiae and Suhee are being seen as well rounded members that serve to anchor the team in the midrange, and Hyejin and Seoyeon boast unique, striking visuals that are drawing attention. The more gossip hungry fans are eager to point out that the fact Minyoung and Ryu Myungeun were left off the 99 Entertainment lineup could mean a few things - either the girls refused the offer because of problems with other potential members or they were actually the problematic contingent themselves and were thus not asked to debut. Those eager to bolster their own individual favorites are quick to point out the perceived kind and hardworking attitudes of the MSG and Midas trainees in comparison, often stating on Pann that they hope a few ârotten applesâ donât spoil the bunch. The finale episodes drew more support than the prior, as viewers were given a chance to approach the girls as a whole rather than being encouraged to pick out a singular favorite to compare to the others critically, which the staff hopes will reduce the likelihood of single-stans. Bit late for that, probably, but itâs worth a try. The overall positive image and mid to high screentime garnered by the MSG girls has viewers eagerly awaiting a debut from the company upcoming, with some company stans wishing theyâd just debut on their own now, particularly given the buzz Eunju has received in the final episodes for being evenly talented across the board in dance, vocal, and rap.Â

BOYâS DEBUT: PROMO
The boys have faced an uphill battle, for the most part, losing out in votes as an influx of uncle fans assured the girls higher numbers and saved more of them from elimination. With the final roundup leaning heavily on Puckâs vocals, Galaxy fans are both cautiously optimistic and annoyed. With their main vocal, Puck, having shown a lackluster, largely tired performance in the final round, fans and producers alike are worried heâs spread to thin, carrying the weight of the group on his back and still promoting in Galaxy. With Jiho taking on the brunt of the rapping, it stands to reason his other skills would be called into question somewhat, and fans are worried by his weak dancing. Dax presents hope for the group as an anchor point and all around solid member, demonstrating a high performance capability and a solid, unique voice. However, with two of their prominent members already debuted under other groups, fans worry that the split attention will cause trouble, particularly given the high frequency of MSG and Midas promotions, whereas the female trainees that have debuted did so under 99, famed for infrequent promotions. Fans have taken to the boys as an underdog story on the whole, with the show crafting a narrative of struggling, often overlooked boys from disparate backgrounds just trying to make it on stage together. This image has caused a recent influx in pann articles about the character of the boys, often done in subtle or outright comparison to issues raised amongst the female contestants.
* Assume some lead vocals / subvocalist / sub rap NPC roles exist to round out the lineup.Â

Hello Contestants! We're here today with the latest in the Produce Project updates saga. Unfortunately we continue to receive complaints, concerns, and worries over a certain group of muns within the Produce Project taking the competition elements to an uncomfortable and unpleasant realm in terms of tracking the posts of other people and various machinations to ensure being on the top, etc. We're really discouraged and alarmed to hear this after everything we've done to this point to try and mitigate it. We're extremely uncomfortable with having such a damaging environment spread within the roleplay, so we're going to take a final step with this project. We intended it for the future of the next season but are enacting it early.
For the purposes ofthe last round of episodes you may now assume that:
There are no fan votes, or what there are do not effect the final outcome.
There is no ranking, there will be no final rankings, and the rankings from the episode 2 post should be considered the "final" rankings revealed on the show.Â
Everyone outside of the current participants was eliminated and they're now operating to try to debut together as a single group, much in the way Stray Kids did on their show.Â
At the end of the show we will debut all remaining contestants in a single group (one girl group, one boy group).Â
The point system for the show has now been formally dissolved, there will no longer have any PP.
EDIT: You may add 3 sp for each thread of 4/4 + and 5 sp for solos of 500+. The image 2.0 main prompt should still be completed.Â
We're really sorry about this. We had a lot planned for Produce Project that we didn't get to roll out for you guys and a lot of it didn't run as intended. Unfortunately we need to prioritize the comfort of our members over the concept. The last thing we want is to leave an environment in place that is becoming a breeding ground for toxic behavior. If you have been made uncomfortable by other muses in any way please consider stepping forward, anonymously or not, to give us as much information as you can so that we can address this strictly and firmly and more precisely.
Again, weâre really sorry for this and regardless we thank you all for your continued interest and activity in the show.
Welcome to the third and final episode of Produce Project Season One! Under the cut youâll find all the important information youâll need to succeed. After the last episode and some of the issues that rose, we want to again stress that if you have a negative experience at all please come to us and that, additionally, we will be debuting everyone in some form of project group after this episode, so please donât feel as anxious or pressured to rank high.Â
REVISED POINTS.
+ 2pp for 400+ headcanon relating to the show. (redeemable once)
+ 3pp for any 4/4 350+ thread.
+ 5pp for any 8/8 350+ thread.Â

+ 10pp for completing a 4/4 350+ thread with each member of your team (all or nothing).Â
+ 10pp for a 3/3 350+ group thread for your entire team. (redeemable once)
+ 5 pp / 5 sp for first solo prompt.Â
+ 3 pp / 3 sp for additional solo completion of prompts.Â
You can redeem points with someone only within the context of one thread.
You can redeem points even if your partner for a thread is not able to do so.Â
Muses that do not complete the minimum 1 prompt will be considered eliminated.Â
PROMPTS.Â
(INTROSPECTIVE) This introspective should delve into your museâs feelings on the final episodes, their placement in the group theyâve been assigned, and on any netizen information from the last episode youâd like to incorporate. A suggestion would be to frame it in the context of an âexit interviewâ for the show.Â
(GROUP STAGE) This time, the group stage prompt should directly reflect their stage performance. If possible, it would be great to explore this after discussion with the other members of your team! Obviously, they shouldnât do a flawless job, we should get an idea of where their weaknesses still are, how they work with the group, how they interpret the song, and so on.Â
(PERSONAL APPEAL) This is your chance to give us something fun to use for the final netizen buzz. We canât guarantee itâll all make it in, but we can guarantee weâll give it a look if we see it linked on your points page. Detail a moment they shined, and how! It can go beyond the purely talent based things; consider Kim Sohye whoâs hard work propelled her up the ranks, or trainees with moments that caught attention for things like aegyo, personality, personal stories, and so on. Show us something only your muse has to offer.Â
(HIDDEN CAMERA PRANK)Â With the show wrapping up, all remaining participants were asked to speak to themselves in a mirror, reflecting on their time on the show, their hardships, their feelings about the show ending soon, then end with some encouraging words to themselves for the final round. But little did the participants know, there was someone dressed as a ghost behind the mirror to prank them halfway through their speech by scaring them all for the hilarious reactions!
EVALUATION.
This is a special prompt turned in to the admins as your museâs fictional "pitch" to the judges. We encourage creativity with this. It can canvass their time in the show as whole, from initial interviews to stages to any controversies they may have experienced. It should be detailed, nuanced, and display the growth of your muse throughout the show, setting them up for their future projection. Consider the image they've hoped to create and the one they now have, to an extent. Consider where you want them to go next. Delve into limitations, faults, and flaws while also outlining strengths. Would they do this again? Do they want to debut in this group at all anymore? What have they learned about the industry through this experience - if anything? How have they come to change their understandings of themselves as an idol and as a person? Has their perception of their own talents changed? Are they willing to sacrifice anything to debut - dignity, dream concepts, personal time, privacy, health? Are they in over their head? Are they still full of dangerous hubris, poised for a downfall? Give us a clear idea of their growth and of what you hope for them in terms of direction. Tell us your grand plan! Anything important to their identity, to their goals, to their future, we want to know it.
500+ words, 5 pp, 5sp. All information will be heavily considered in admin plans for
upcoming groups and debuts. Consider this a lot like the image section 2.0, revised with character growth in mind.
GROUP STAGES: UNIT CONCEPT BATTLE.
These songs should not be treated as covers and should instead be understood to be new compositions given to the show for use in the competition. The girls will not film a music video but will be expected to prepare a short teaser on their own, with only a handheld camera provided. Styling and vibes will reflect those in the stages for the respective songs in reality.Â

Titaniumâs Kang Jaehyun -- withdrew during episode block.Â
Jawbreakerâs Ellie -- withdrew during episode block.Â
Here we go guys, our long awaited results! Remember, these were accumulated over 2 episode blocks, with this one encompassing episodes 4 to 6. Youâll notice there were some ties, just as there were last time. In those instances we assumed already debuted idols to have an edge in voting and popularity and placed them ahead in the rankings. Just as before, your idols of course donât know about the âtiesâ but can know the points were âvery closeâ or something similar, for in character purposes since a true tie (especially so many) would be unlikely in the extreme. Our points system will have a little bit of a revamp for the next and final round beginning on August 18th so be on the lookout for that. Weâll be observing things carefully to determine how we can improve the system for Season Two, which will shortly follow the end of the project groups promotions.
In the coming day(s) youâll see some removals from the show that have been discussed with us and integrated into the overarching plot. These removals will be in effect in character after the KCON performance and after the finale of this episode block, so the rankings will remain as is since weâre in the âfreezeâ between episodes right now. Theyâll be removed in the beginning of the next episode âblock.â If you would also like to withdraw please try to message us sometime this week. Â
Incoming participants may add 40 pp points to account for episodes 1 and 2 (assumed 20 earned in each) to allow them a chance to be competitive in the rankings.Â
Before we kick this off there are a few things we want to say. First, we doubled the number of participants from the last episode to this one so this got really, really long. Secondly, weâre now approaching the final point of the show, so we wanted to work in some more âchallengesâ and things for you guys (and for the mentors!) so we took a more critical netizen approach and the notorious âevilâ editing of the staff (drama sells!) in a way that we hope gives you a lot of room to deal with the unexpected. Thirdly, we did our best to talk about everyone to some extent but if we missed you, we apologize! Because we pulled from threads we saw on dash, there was more to work with for more active members, but we did try and go back and fit in something from everyone. Most importantly: any negativity from ânetizensâ is both minor due to the scope of the show (it is, again, not anywhere near as popular as in real life) and will not in any way shape or form affect your ranking. Consider it just a bonus something to build on or plot regarding, not an indictment of any characters or anything near a full blown scandal UNLESS you want it to BECOME a scandal. If you do, you can buy up a pann post regarding that facet and weâll work it in. Even in this case, rankings will be based solely on your activity. So if you have a muse that gets pinged for bullying by a netizen or for having a bad attitude and you want to have them have a proper scandal out of it, but you end up in 1st place: thatâs perfect! Remember that they can blame malicious editing, their charms can still appeal to earnest/zealous fans, and they can fall back on the âmore popular people get more hateâ narrative that is, in fact, not untrue. Weâre a little hesitant about this given some of the criticism weâve got, so we want to be extra extra extra clear that everything here is just netizens being netizens and that you will be just fine. We just want to add a dimension of reality to it by acting as the âuncontrollableâ and âunpredictableâ force of editing and public perception.Â
- Thereâs big buzz around Suran after the current centerâs evaluation with Yena ended in tears. The mentor displayed her caring, kind personality as she probed into the girlâs hardships, which prompted Suran to tears. Yena inferred the cause to be bullying, which the other girl tentatively confirmed. Of course, this has sparked fans into overdrive, scouring this set of episodes and others for evidence of bullying. Fans of other debuted idols, notably Puck, have begun searching for evidence of similar treatment. Â
- There is continued approval for Myungeun for working hard with a good attitude, but questioning her performance, mainly wondering if she can perform to the same level that she can sing. She continues to hold steady in the rankings, with attention being paid to her after sympathy rose for her harsh criticism received on her rapping. Company mate and group member Hyejin received a major boost in attention for her relation to Sooyeon, but as concerns of bullying developed, an interaction with Suran in an early episode is receiving criticism. Further episodes caught her speaking disrespectfully to an older member of the show (Hwarin) in the group dorms and some have begun to label her a fox, though others claim malicious editing. As with all strong visuals sheâs getting some flack for being the âholeâ of the 99 trainees as she lacks their standout vocal proclivities, but her appearance and charm hold off the brunt of criticism in that respect, aided by her dance/performance.
- The much awaited Cute Team had some clear holes but did their best and put on a solid performance, particularly from the two 99 entertainment trainees. Member Minyoung showed immense promise with her vocals, and her weaker dance was quickly overlooked when gifs of her âending poseâ (looking up slightly, a quick hair flick, eyes full of hope and wonder) spread amongst fans of the show. An inter-company rivalry line is being edited in regarding Minyoung and Suhee as two vocalists; one with stronger power and one with more perceived versatility in performance but less developed live skills.  Both are being examined for potential attitude controversy due to the rivalry editing and the general suspicions arising from bullying rumors floating around on the show, so they should tread carefully. Thereâs also hints of a rivalry line being edited between Myungeun and Minyoung as two of the more vocal heavy members of the show.Â
- Meihua and Hwarin trailed in the Cute Team, though Meihuaâs dance break supported a modest boost in attention for the girl due to her acrobatics and youthful charm. Her singing was noted for being a bit shaky, which fans chalk up to her stated worries about stage fright and pronunciation. Her can-do attitude is being heavily praised. Hwarinâs lamentations about being a rap focused trainee first garnered sympathy but over the course of the episodes fans began to increasingly point out a female idol should generally be prepared to sing and rap in equal measure in the majority of girl groups that have rappers. Her performance ability surprised pleasantly, however, leaving her with room to grow her audience.
- MSG trainee Eunju is an unexpected standout this round, with voters praising her genuine personality, her versatility, and her unique visuals. Sheâs quickly gathering female fans in particular for her charming ways, and has been commended as one of the more respectful members of the show with an almost âblank paperâ image, a little bit silly but endearing. Alongside Myungeun and Suranâs performances vocally, the Charm Team caused quite a buzz for their solid performance thanks to her eye catching opening and closing segments.
- Fans of the Classic Team were angry about the lack of screentime for the members overall, in particular the two Jawbreaker girls. The uneven treatment and editing is angering Jawbreaker fans. Ellieâs ambiguous status in the competition is being pointed out by fans as unfair, citing that upcoming challenges should give her a chance to truly show her rapping, rather than a âgirl group rapâ style. Others point out being versatile and âgirl group styleâ is the point of the show and that perhaps Ellieâs skill set is too niche for the program, which is rumored to have led to her departure from the show. Their performance was very well received when it aired, though this only further angered fans of the group who felt it was unfair that they were edited out of so much.
- Midas trainees are receiving split attention, with Jiae praised heavily for her work ethic and unique visual vibe, and critics claiming sheâs too boring or too bland - too midrange, causing a fluctuation in her popularity and allowing Suhee to surge past her in the rankings for this round. Fans hope she demonstrates a strong side to her character in upcoming episodes. Fans note that Midas idols have intense image management training, and that sheâs likely playing it safe due to pressure from her company, which has them counteracting the criticism by praising her professional attitude, even as a trainee.Â
- Conversely, after an inadvertent verbal slip up, a few viewers are criticizing Seoyeonâs attitude towards seniors. However, her visuals are garnering attention alongside her performance in the ever-popular Roly Poly, with fans excited to see her taking on the parts traditionally belonging to the center, as she gives a soulful, feminine, graceful feeling they want to see more of. There are high hopes being placed on the upcoming Midas girl group after getting to know them through the show.Â
- Puck is getting heavily positive responses after he trained to the point of passing out, clips being passed around on Pann to garner sympathy. Fans of Galaxy were torn internally on whether to request he be taken from the show as itâs clearly taxing and they worry about his treatment there, feeling he doesnât get the screentime he deserves, but ultimately the consensus is heâs showing Galaxyâs strengths and charms well and they will trust in him.
- Finding a vocal standout in Taekjo gives the mentors higher hopes for a well rounded male unit in the future, pin pointing a rivalry in style, image, and ability between Puck and Taekjo specifically. Rumor has it Puckâs fans may be beginning to dig into Taekjoâs past to look for scandals they can hold up against Puckâs impeccable image.
- Yohanâs harsh treatment of trainees receiving mixed feedback- truthfully mostly negative outside of his fans, particularly as he harshly scolded two of the top contestants (and girls at that)Â over the course of the episode. There are many angry uncle fan eyes on him in the coming episodes, and Atlas fans worry this could boil over into a scandal.
- Sanâs placid personality reveals the true nature of many trainees, as they try to push praise out of him or treat his mentorship too lightly or with disrespect . Fans are calling him the âlie detectorâ because he exposes the fake attitudes of some contestants, and Olympusâ faithful, highly attentive fans stand at the ready to ruin those they perceive as slighting him.
- High attention has been paid to the Titanium members, finding that theyâve been to the military (mostly) and have excellent manners and respect so far on the show as well as solid skills has fans really anticipating their progress.
- The Force Team troubled with concerns over their weaker vocals but overcame that worry with a strong and charming performance that shows they know how to make the most of their abilities and style a performance that overcomes their limitations. Member Jaehyun gained attention for unexpected vocal skills that he had not had a chance to demonstrate prior and Dax for his stage presence and versatility, though there was a bit of a worry that the two seemed stilted or strained in scenes together. Â The other members are regarded favorably on the whole and the group is said to have been the most solid of the male group efforts in this round. Dax in particular is noted additionally for his sociability amongst the other trainees, seeming like a true team player, while Jaehyun is said to exude a solid leader vibe, which left fans quite distraught when Jaehyun withdrew from the show.
- Dax additionally caused a big reaction when he lifted his shirt onstage during his performance, expertly timed for the body-roll section of the choreography. The few girls in the crowd who might not have been his fan already were certainly swayed if the cacophonous screams gave any indication. It was a bold move that showed a playful, mischievous side to his strong performance abilities.Â
- Member Aiden was noted for carrying off his parts well, though the mentors worry he is young still and his training time relatively short compared to the other members of his group, which may have caused him to be overshadowed. There are speculations heâll be put into a group of more similarly aged/experienced trainees in the next rounds to give him a chance to shine.
- In particular, contestant Aroon has found unexpected praise for his attitude and work ethic, with some of his more enthusiastic fans compiling small acts of kindness throughout the series and pointing out his impending debut and how he does not waver in his focus on the show even with that on the horizon. It seems heâll be quite the stan attractor as he shoots up the rankings.Â
- Jaeyoung surprised with his ability to handle the parts given to him in the Team Bright performance, with mentors noting that his ability to remain relatively stable and on key even during intense choreography was a testament to good training. Theyâve noted he still needs work, but could pursue a greater vocal load in the future with some training. His chic attitude has mixed results, with some stating heâs cold and others lamenting a natural resting bitch face that can be misunderstood too easily.

Hello Contestants!! Weâre coming at you with some news today. Weâre working on our next episode for the show! Weâll be posting it on August 18th - so a slightly longer break than last time but not as long as we worried would be necessary. This will be, however, our final episode for the first season. You read that right, there will be further seasons in the future. Weâre making a few tweaks to the point system for the final episode (nothing extravagant, we promise) and are adding a few additional prompts and ways to offer up ideas for development. Weâre also arranging everyone into color teams for songs, much like in the concept battle of The Unit. As a result, in working on our line distributions and what songs weâre choosing to use for units, we need a clear idea of what kind of specialties of trainee we have. With that said if  you intend on having your trainee leave for plot purposes (which is fine by us!) please tell us so that they can leave at the end of Episode 2 (ooc)  and so that we have a clear idea of what trainees/specialties remain! We know a few people have mentioned it to us prior and are sure others have considered it, so now is the time to contact us regarding that. Just drop us an IM on the main!
With the initial filming covering auditions, participant interviews, and the early stages of training and preliminary talent showcases, we come now upon the second (set of) episode(s). Canonically they are covering the next three episodes, and will last for three weeks out of character just as the first did. There are a few clarifications here: in character progress is determined more from the nameless judges than votes and consequently, views/votes are lower and resulting popularity will be much lower than that of the actual Produce shows. For members accepted today, if you mentioned to us interest in Produce Project we sorted you into a group but please still send in that form! If you didnât mention it, we didnât add you, but youâre more than welcome to join up just send in that form as well!
MECHANICS.
In order to advance to the next round participants must complete one of the prompts provided, in excess of 500 words if a solo or in the standard 4/4 at 350 a post thread.Â
Prompts may only be completed once.Â
Prompts and threads are time-locked and must be completed by the end of the âepisodeâ and must surround activities from this episode and not those prior.
Additional threads centered around this âepisodeâ and completed per requirements (4/4 at 350) are eligible to redeem for PP.Â
Remember to check the general mechanics post and page on this sideblog!Â
Threads for points must be completed with other members of the show. Youâre welcome to bring up Pro.J with other muses in the roleplay but unless the other party is also a participant it doesnât count towards your project point totals.
Points are cumulative across episodes. A member with 20 points in the first episode and 10 in the second will have a total of 30 points, etc.
CURRENT BUZZ.
Does Jawbreaker have a place on the show? While they were on a similar popularity level to Galaxy, thereâs concern that the girlâs new comeback has given them too big of a boost. Â In contrast, the stark difference in attention and screen time between Jawbreaker members is criticized in multiple ways. Some common topics are: Suran as the center girl and her dual role in Jawbreaker/Her.oine, Suranâs SNS exposure and Chanel deal, Ellieâs low rankings comparative to other Jawbreaker members (both criticism and praise of skills following) and her slightly controversial choice of audition piece, and Jiahn as a member. In the final case, Jiahn has received a high level of attention from netizens for her precarious place in the Jawbreaker lineup and is under pressure to prove her skills. Rumors of potential discord amongst some Jawbreaker members are beginning to rise, though Suran and Jiahn have demonstrated closeness on the show.
Contestant Myungeun is receiving attention for her atypical background and more mature image, making her a standout from the rest of the 99 pack. 99 trainees as a whole are gaining attention for their cute and youthful images/appearances, leading fans to speculate theyâre going to be grouped for a more fresh and cute style upon debut, which would be an unexpected move from 99 Entertainment. (And note, your trainees are not aware of the intended debut plans from 99 Ent in terms of image, etc) Fans note that the trainee group has a number of proclaimed vocalists but has done very little to demonstrate performance or dance skills to this point.
Midas Trainee Jiaeâs striking appearance and general polished image, alongside her longterm training and dual focus, have gained her a following and have put a lot of attention on the upcoming Midas girl group as something to look out for. Image speculation is that the group will be a more refined version of Fantasy and expectations are heightened. Fantasy fans are concerned the absence of the girls on the show indicates Midas is putting their eggs in the upcoming groupâs basket.
The unexpected fact of the boys receiving lower attention / rankings has fans worrying about the future of boy groups in the industry, or decrying unfair treatment/preferential treatment towards the more marketable female contestants. There are high hopes for them to bring further attention to themselves as the show progresses, and fans of active boy groups are eager to see their cover performances.
Fans are hugely hopeful that this will be Puckâs time to shine and bring some much needed attention to Galaxy, who is currently climbing the charts in part due to Puck gaining them exposure and in part due to the success of their new comeback. Their fresh and boyish image is hitting a strong chord in the midst of the flurry of summer girl group promotions, and fans hope Puck will continue to represent the group well.
Judges and mentors alike are concerned that many of the contestants provided auditions that were strictly single skill (many of the auditions were ballad/stationary covers or rap covers that didnât demonstrate dance) and are worried about the viability of those trainees  in performance. The general consensus is that those who demonstrated their main skill and dance during the audition realm have put themselves at the front of the pack in terms of perceived skill by the experts on the show, though of course the public may react differently. This is the reasoning behind the more performance and image geared second round. The density of rap based or vocal-light male trainees is a concern for producers at the moment.
Remember out of character the rankings are determined by activity, but in character it comes from votes and judging. Keep in mind also that as with all things Idolize, the musesâ perceived image and skills are at the forefront and popularity resultant from the show will be modest.
PROMPTS.
(INTROSPECTIVE) Reflect on your personal progress and on the rankings from the first episode. Reflect upon moments of criticism from the mentors or moments that might have come across more awkward on screen than intended, and so on. Remember, you are always on camera, which means anything youâve said in the area in front of another trainee has potential to have been aired, no matter how private you thought it was.
(GROUP STAGES) These are not required to be completed as threads within the groups below, but as always we would encourage it. This episode centers around covering iconic songs from notable groups in the Idolize universe. The mentors arranged teams based on skill sets, balance, and the general image theyâd like to see demonstrated by that contestant (at least in the context of this song, though not necessarily in general). Details are below.
(BONUS PROMPT) Pick Me! stage evaluations were completed in the last episode to determine the center for both boys and girls. In the wake of that, reflect on your musesâ feelings about their placement and on the performance / song itself and on the filming of the final stage.
GROUP STAGES.
We linked dance stages so you can get an idea of the choreography clearly since most of you are likely familiar with the songs themselves!
Additional participants over the next few weeks will be sorted into new teams. While this may not fit their image/visuals as well necessarily weâll do our best to make adjustments as necessary, but it seemed to us to be easier than trying to redo line distributions each time.
Team A. Charm Team.
4Minute - Mirror Mirror
Team A is thus grouped for their atypical but charming visuals and their eye catching strength. These contestants demonstrated high performance capability and an innate ability to draw attention to themselves on stage, be it for visuals or skill. The desire from the judges now is to group those with that standout star quality together and see if they can also adjust their performance styles to work in cohesion, without creating discord or competing for the spotlight in a way that will compromise the overall performance. Being able to work as a team and share the attention is crucial for an idol.Â
Song Suran - Â vocalist / rapper // gayoon, hyuna (verses)
Ryu Myungeun - vocalist // Â jiyoon
Joo Hyejin - vocalist / dancer  // sohyun
Oh Eunju - vocalist / rapper // Â hyuna (opening, closing), jihyun
Team B. Cute Team.
SNSD - Into the New World
The most coveted of the songs based on contestant reactions, the girls were grouped here largely for their visuals alone. With most of the trainees in this group leaning harder into dance than vocals, this stage has been designed to test their abilities to do both, acting as a chance for the girls to display their ability (or lack thereof) to take something familiar and live up to the challenge without relying on a single skill- an idol needs to be the whole package and must draw the gaze of viewers without fading into the group.
Team C. Â Classic Team.
Wonder Girls - Be My Baby
Chosen first and foremost of their classic beauty, this group has everything a visual needs to succeed in the current market - long limbs, wide eyes, clear skin, etc. What they havenât yet done, however, is demonstrate the full range of their skills, with most viewers interested in their visuals more so than their talents. This group has a classically popular concept that the judges hope will allow the girls to demonstrate their hopefully standout individual skills, giving the mentors a chance to observe where their strengths truly lie.Â
Kang Jiahn - vocalist/dancer // sohee and ½ sunye
Han Jiae - vocalist/dancer // yeeun and ½  sunye
Eleanor/Ellie Moon - rapper // yubin
Moon Soomi - dancer // hyerim
Team G. Cheer Team.Â
T-ARA- Roly Poly
These girls havenât yet had the chance to demonstrate to the judges, and the viewers, the unique brightness of their performances. Seeing in them a potential for a quirky, cute image that could canvas multiple genres, if tailored appropriately, the mentors gave them a classic and truthfully relatively easy song, with a bonus of being exceptionally catchy. Theyâre hoping to give the girls a chance to shine in the upcoming episodes, where screen time hasnât necessarily been in their favor prior to this point. Theyâve been given a great opportunity, though itâs certainly one that could fall short.Â
Ahn Seoyeon - vocalist/dancer // jiyeon
Team D. Force Team.
MBLAQ - Mona Lisa
With strong vocals and powerful choreography, the judges have placed the burden of proof upon these contestants. Worried that the male trainees may be lacking in viable vocals, theyâve chosen the song to demonstrate the range of talents needed to succeed as an idol, challenging the young men to live up to that standard and prove their capability. With most of the older trainees here, eyes are on them to prove that their hard years of training have been put to good use. Thereâs a sense of urgency with this group, as if this stage could be make or break.
Kang Jaehyun - vocalist // g.o, seungho
Kim Daesung-  dancer/vocalist // lee joon, thunder Â
Lee Daehyun - Â dancer/rapper // mir
Team E. Â Bright Team.
Teen Top - No More Perfume
For the most part, this group consists of the youthful trainees that leave the judges worried they may not yet have the years of experience and growth behind them that are necessary for a strong debut. With the top male contestant in the group, theyâre hoping he can lead the others by example while also demonstrating thereâs more to him than just strong vocal capability. Theyâre handing the boys a challenging song in terms of choreography, which they hope will give them a chance to demonstrate their performance capabilities.Â
Paris Gao - vocalist // niel
Ha Jaeyoung - vocalist/dancer // chunji
Yu Xiaobo - Â dancer //Â ricky, changjo
Im Kyeonghwan - dancer/rapper // Â cap, ljoe
Team F. Power Team.Â
2pm - Heartbeat
This group is characterized by those with an intense force and aura about them. With the song possessing a strong masculine energy, the boys grouped here have been put in place with the hopes of demonstrating a strong performance capability. The judges are eager to see these trainees prove their stage capabilities and illustrate their abilities to command an audience with a vocally less demanding set that still requires depth and power, alongside distinctive choreography that speaks to the truly stereotypical idol vibe- powerful, expressive, eye catching.Â
Remember, in character these rankings have been accumulated/progressed over three episodes, rather than just one!Â

Incoming members should submit the appropriate form and a link to their produce specific point page. This page should also be easily found from nav somewhere on their page just like the normal points page! Congratulations to our participants, weâre excited to see everyone getting involved! Two quick notes: mentors are NOT judges and all incoming members should add 15 points for the first âepisode.â
Hello hopefuls! Weâre wrapping up Episode 1 (out of character) which would equate to 3ish episodes of real life content, roughly one per week in character. We know we initially promised to start the next episode immediately, but weâre going to have to take that back now. Instead weâre going to be having a one week âbreakâ between each episode to give everyone a chance to plot, develop, and write without the pressure of points hanging overhead. Sort of a mental muse reset period to catch your breath for a second! Thatâll also give us a chance to update rankings, come up with the episode prompts and make sure theyâre the best quality they can be, and work on adding things t o the show. Weâre at this point unsure if weâll continue with the possibility of the produce shop, due to some of the problems weâve had with the normal shop, but weâve not taken it off the table entirely. Please update your point tallies on the pages that you linked us. if you havenât updated or linked us, we just donât have the time to go through and find all your threads. So at the end point of the show, weâre just going to go off of whatever youâve put on your page regardless of if itâs fully up to date or not, so please please make sure you get that done!
A quick update to bring you the results of our lottery. Weâre bringing it much later then intended because we were hoping to get a few more eligible members into the male side of things in particular before we put it out there, but alas. Without further ado please congratulate the centers for the theme song of the series: Jawbreakerâs Suran (@idsuran) and Galaxyâs Puck (@idpuck) !

Hello hopefuls and welcome to the first stage of the Produce Project! There is a lot to cover here so bare with us. This first âepisodeâ will center around the initial auditioning process.
MECHANICS.Â
In order to advance to the next round participants must complete one of the prompts provided, in excess of 500 words if a solo or in the standard 4/4 at 350 a post thread.Â
Prompts may only be completed once.Â
Prompts are time-locked and must be completed by the end of the âepisode.â
Additional threads centered around this âepisodeâ and completed per requirements (4/4 at 350) are eligible to redeem for PP.Â
Example additional thread ideas: backstage before your museâs audition, watching other auditions, etc.
Remember to check the general mechanics post and page on this sideblog!Â
Threads for points must be completed with other members of the show. Youâre welcome to bring up Pro.J with other muses in the roleplay but unless the other party is also a participant it doesnât count towards your project point totals.Â
PROMPTS.Â
( INTROSPECTIVE ) - Writing from the perspective of your muse having advanced through the audition stage, this prompt can cover dealing with the emotions that come along with advancing into the competition and the preparation for the audition stage and so on.Â
( AUDITION STAGE ) - This prompt deals with the process of preparing for, performing, and ultimately succeeding in your audition stage. Feel free to add unnamed company trainees to your âgroupâ for your stage, to do one with other company trainees as a thread, or to complete one as a purely solo endeavor.Â
( BONUS PROMPT ) - This prompt option deals with adjusting to the difficulties of living in the trainee dorms. Gender separation is strict and fierce, diets are heavily enforced, activities are monitored, and there is very little down time for participants. Currently active idols are able to leave when necessary for schedules, of course, but beyond that it is very much a âfishbowlâ situation: small environment, lots of cameras, lots of observation.
AUDITION STAGES.Â
Please remember that Top Tier artists are available to claim from for covers (2NE1, SNSD, Wonder Girls, IU, GDragon, Big Bang, SHINee, 2PM) as well as in-universe popular songs (Poiznâs Love Scenario, Atlasâs I Need U, Daydreamâs Glass Bead, CHERRY BOMB!âs Red Flavor, etc) but that solo artists are trickier so consider artists that are more established/classic like Younha or Hwang Chiyeol or even western artists that are popularly covered.Â
Claim your audition stage song by submitting the following form to the PRO.J blog
NAME:
COMPANY/GROUP:
PRODUCE PROJECTS POINTS PAGE:
OTHER PARTICIPANTS/PART DISTRIBUTION:
SONG CHOICE:Â
* NOTE: If more than one person is participating both must still submit so we have it on record for both muses.Â
Hello hopefuls and welcome to the Produce Project! Weâre super excited to get things kicked off. This post is to give you a few quick reminders.
Firstly, check out the info page if youâve got any questions. Mostly importantly, we added an additional rule: please create a points tracking page specifically for this show and submit the link to this blog! Weâll link it on your participant profile.
Secondly, when it comes to such things as fun viral moments, weâre still considering how to deal with those so for the time being weâll be given them out lottery style at the end of each round via random generator. When it comes to the center positions for the marketing song (e.g. IOIâs Pick Me, etc), weâll determine by a lottery of the currently active idols, as theyâd have a believable edge up in the voting. Weâll give a few days for any last minute participants to sign up and announce it Wednesday KST.
Thirdly, in case you were concerned, yes: threading with the mentors counts towards point totals for both parties. Mentors, however, are eligible to redeem EXP instead of PP for each completed thread. They are eligible to complete the Introspective solo prompts when applicable but not the others. Occasionally there will be mentor based prompts but as they have other opportunities in the site (such as the current event) theirs will be more limited.
And finally, we are always accepting new Pro.J members so feel free to join up!
