hello! i hope everyone is doing well :^))

i’m currently trying to plan out my final english assignment (in place of our final exam), and it’s not exactly going smoothly haha. i did much better than i was anticipating on my research paper for this class, and so i only really need a 70-80% on this paper to keep my a+ in the class, but my overachieving self doesn’t want to let my professor down, so here i am trying to make this my absolute best work.

my other classes are all finished, and i’d say i’m fairly content with how my final grades in them went. calculus is the one bringing my gpa down as always, so not a lot has changed. the last few days have definitely shown me that although i complained about the amount of midterms i always seemed to be writing, science (esp. biology) is where my heart is—i would much rather be studying life cycles and functional groups than trying to format perfect paragraphs lmao.

physics notes,,,, my exam (more of an extra midterm now) is on friday! i have my bio lecture/lab exams next week, as well as my chem final. calc is done (thank goodness, i really didn’t think i’d ever make it here), and my final english assignment is due in two weeks. right now, i’m just trying to learn as much as i need to be able to efficiently write my (open-book) exams, and put my extra effort into the classes that have content that carries into future classes. (that’s really just bio at this point lol).

i’m hoping that we’re able to begin moving back towards normalcy soon! i live in british columbia and we’re doing pretty well right now, but we may be expecting a second wave of covid-19 in september, and my university will be making a decision in the coming weeks as to whether we’ll be completely online for the fall semester as well ://

hello from social distancing! i’m about to head into my second week of online classes, and so far things are going alright. i had two midterms last week that i did well on, but we were being tested primarily on things that we had covered already in lecture.

i’m trying to get most of my notes for this week done so that i can focus on assignments and studying for upcoming finals, so that’s been what i’ve been doing for most of today.
