Future Cat and Loser Boy

Until further notice, this blog will be on hiatus. I apologize for any threads that are currently going on. Occasionally I will return to do one or two replies but it probably won’t happen often.  

“Probably! I hear Nurse Joy’s go to school for a very long time, I’m sure she probably knows every Pokémon in the universe!” Though really all she really did was place the Pokéballs into the machine. Though with how knowledgeable Nurse Joy was with everything about the health of a Pokémon, maybe it took a lot more to heal Pokémon than just placing the Pokéballs in a machine and pressing a button.

Nurse Joy was still diligently working on healing a trainer’s team of five Pokémon, but then looked up to see a boy staring at her. She didn’t mind at all however and gives a friendly wave of greeting.

Nurse Joy then turns her attention to the robotic “Meowth”, always happy to answer questions.

“Yes, you are correct! Pokéballs copy Pokémon’s data and store it into the ball as well as the Pokédex. This is why when you capture a Pokémon that you get another red entry. It also indicates if the Pokémon is hurt or not and that brings a signal to the computer.” She places the five Pokéballs in the holes provided on the machine then types some things on a keyboard. Once she was done with that she pressed a red button. 

It plays a small four note song as the bottom of the Pokéballs light up. “Then the computer heals any affliction that the Pokémon has. It also heals the Pokémon to 100% so they’ll be ready to battle and play again.” She then takes the Pokéballs from the machine and gives them back to the trainer. “We hope to see you again~!”

“So the two are linked!” Doraemon celebrated his proven hypothesis as he ran closer to Nurse Joy with a pen and a small notebook in hand. Hopefully, the nearby trainers didn’t mind. The small robot took plenty of notes on the nurse’s explanation while also writing some questions in the margins. “So, if the pokeballs are connected to an individual trainer’s pokedex, would the pokedex data affect the healing station here at the Pokemon Center indirectly at all?”

“We’ll be here in case you need anything. Just give us a call when you’re done with your nap.” Nobita looked through his bookshelf to find a funny manga to read while Simeon was asleep. His mother wouldn’t like him abandoning guests in his room. 

Doraemon couldn’t shake the feeling that he was being watched. He turned toward Robin and observed the toy for any movement. Did it have anything to do with the duo’s powers? Oh well, Robin seemed nice anyway. 

   Robin’s ears did twitch as the robotic cat was looking at him. Even if he is a plush of Fei’s, he was still alive in a sense. Before long, he rose his arm and waved at the other as Simeon would go to rest.

   “Thanks.” Simeon replied before he yawned and fell to sleep in time.

   Even though it seems like he’s calm, psychic ripples did echo in the room as Fei felt it. Though, he calmed down in time as he knows Simeon is in a calming state.

After giving Robin a wave, Doraemon grabbed his plate and cup to put them away downstairs. On his way there, Nobita’s mother asked how their guest was doing. Doraemon responded that he was a little tired and left it at that.

                           “Yes a real life mermaid, child. We have been

                                existing for eons, at least as far as the human 

                               goes I believe. Even more”

Says her allowing him get closer to her, her tail seemed powerful and it was very powerful, it was great and had a great strenght in it, something that all mermaids have, in reality. Now that they swim a lot, her tail was also beautiful, those scales shinned like the sear when it got hit by the sun, the pink and purple reflex and how the tail moved in slowly movements, then it was more of a show. 

                            “You mean no harm Nobita Nobi, and I appreciate it.

                                   My name is Naida Ianthe, if your friends mean no harm, 

                                I do not see any objection to that but if they do, I fordibe it. 

                                   As we mermaids only want to live in peace.”

And that is a fact they are not dangerous at all, they are far from that, they are known for enjoy the music, for love the sea and live in peace and harmony with anyone who seeked the same. 

Nobita held his right-hand palm facing down above his glasses to observe her tail better without any pesky light reflections. Multiple shades of pink and purples all combined beautifully and remained undisturbed after any movement. He wanted to touch her tail so much.

Nobima’s manga would be fine, Gian however….well he better start writing his last will and testament. The bloody hand began to pull itself out of the manga, revealing the ‘monster’ in it’s full form. 

Clutching it’s bloody machete tightly, the monstrous figure would walk menacingly towards Gian while raising it’s weapon up high. Time for some fitting chase music!

It was at this time that a choice was placed in front of Gian. He could fight the foe to win back his stolen goods or continue his escape. It seemed more logical for him to choose the latter. However, no matter how far he ran, he never seemed to escape the 2nd floor. By this point, he’s gone into as many doors as the Mystery Gang during a mystery.

“Try all you want, but you’re never getting out of here~!” Nobita sang with his head moving side to side.

“You’re probably more tired than me so you can have my room for now.” He gave an energetic smile to help Simeon get used to the idea, “It’s the least I can do after all the great news you’ve given me today!” 

“Your lack of naps for today will be a noble sacrifice that will be written in the history books.” Doraemon saluted his friend after completing his small decree on the most objective voice he could. 

   Simeon was concerned but afterwhile, he sighed. “Alright then.”

   Fei wondered what is going on as Robin was looking to Doreamon curiously for a bit. Doreamon isn’t the only strange thing in here after all.

“We’ll be here in case you need anything. Just give us a call when you’re done with your nap.” Nobita looked through his bookshelf to find a funny manga to read while Simeon was asleep. His mother wouldn’t like him abandoning guests in his room. 

She was right, a human child was not there to cause pain and harm to the life, they respected it… then the humans change when they reach the adulthood?

                             “I am not dressed, mermaids do not need it, but you

                                could be reflected by my scales… human child.”

Says her a she gives a strong clap with her tail on the floor of the island, she was making clear that the tail was real and really strong if she could hit the floor like that, it wasn’t a way to scare the child, but as a way to tell that she was real.

                                  “Do not fear, as I told you before, I mean no harm to 

                                           you. Do you go by any name, human?”

Asked her lowering herself to show that she was relaxed, that she was not fearing the kid at all. Maybe she would get back if the other approaches too much out of the blue but again, she ccan escape easily

“A mermaid? So you’re saying I’m being visited by a real-life mermaid?!” Nobita’s energy level shot up as he put his fishing rod away to get a better look at her tail. But the thought that she wasn’t dressed did make him blush a little and keep his eyes away from certain parts just in case.

“Heheh,” Stinky would have smiled at the comment, but it wasn’t visible as a squid, “The benefit of being small, huh? At least you can float around to reach things you’re too short for… I could do with being a bit shorter, myself…” 

Listening carefully, the large squid eventually nodded, feeling relieved it was pretty simple to use. As he turned the knob, he glanced to Teddy, “Say, if that’s the case, maybe you can come visit me sometime,” he mused, “I can show you around Inkopolis…” he paused, placing one tentacle where his “chin” would have been, “I guess I’d have to pass you off as a plush or something… Might get a bit of attention.

“A-anyway,” he cleared his throat, “Thanks for having me along, I’d like to see you again sometime. Kaoru, too.” and with that, he opened the door so he could crawl through.

“Really?! Thank you! I’d love to go!” He did a couple joyful bounces along with tail wags and had to grad the table to stop himself from tripping near the end, “You don’t have to worry about me, us yokai are Masters of Disguise! You won’t even know it’s me.” Teddie took a moment to point at himself with a cocky smile. Sure his use of tanuki leaves isn’t master class but they were passable.

“You don’t have to thank me, today was really fun.” The shmoopie had to ride his heart again to better reach the doorknob, “Now you have to do fun things with me again. No backsies cuz’ it already started! And I know where Kaoru hangs out so now I can find him very easy.”

“Nice to meet you, Fei and Robin.” Doraemon nodded his head at Fei and responded in a quiet manner. He assumed the child would be more comfortable this way if he was more gentle.

“I kinda agree with you on that, Simeon.” Nobita slowly stretched his arms, “Something about a nice day makes you want to take a warm nap. I have a nice pillow you can take a nap on if you want to.” He knows it’s good because he’s taken many naps on it.

   Fei smiled at Doraemon as he held Robin close to his arms.  

   “Where you going to sleep?” Simeon asked in concern as he looked to Nobita. “I mean, that’s your bed.”

“You’re probably more tired than me so you can have my room for now.” He gave an energetic smile to help Simeon get used to the idea, “It’s the least I can do after all the great news you’ve given me today!” 

“Not at all, I’m sorry for eavesdropping I was looking for my friend. This um..blue robot an astromech.” He survey the area, in case a certain blue astromech was rolling towards him. Hm, he’ll find him or Artoo will.

“Nah, I’m not busy just around the area. …Oh I’m Luke by the way, so what’s this part you needed?” He could hear Leia and visualize her giving him the talk about being a naive farmboy who is willing to assist about anyone who comes his way; that he should be more cautious about it.

“A blue astromech?” Doraemon repeated while also taking another look at the area, “Sorry to say but I haven’t seen any like that...Maybe your friend’s waiting for you somewhere?” 

“Nice to meet you, Luke! My name’s Doraemon, I’m just a little cat robot trying to find his way home.” Perhaps that friend of his was in a similar predicament? “My transportation won’t be up and running again until I can find a replacement part here.”

Doraemon took out his toy-like communicator and created a small blue hologram with the part in question. It was mostly square but had three pipes sticking out of it. The part’s basic design worked against it by making it look too similar to other small contraptions. 

It didn’t take much observation to notice the way Lucas visibly relaxed once the robotic cat made some space between them, body language no longer indicating a possible ‘fight or freeze’ response. It was also clearly intelligent if it was smart enough to understand the message he’d hoped his glare would send. He was glad that was the case, though it still didn’t entirely remove his distrust. Just focus on the human boy. The boy was most likely friends or allied with the robot, but that did not mean he was a threat. …Lucas didn’t even know if robots were a threat here in general, considering the fact that he had no idea where he was.

“It’s…” Again he briefly glanced towards the cat. It wasn’t recording him, was it? A breath was taken to steady himself as he forced his attention to stay on the younger boy. “Yeah. Long story short? A lot.” But that was no excuse. “Still. Ah’m Sorry for snappin’ at both of yah. It’s… not a good habit.” The teenager fidgeted, uncomfortable with the fact that he’d needed to apologize to a robot. As for the list of past incidents… It was comforting to know he at least wasn’t the only who’d had experiences- that it was an understandable aversion from the other boy’s point of view.

Lucas allowed himself a small smile. Hopefully this would reassure the stranger that he hadn’t made him feel any worse. “It’s okay- Ah’m just glad you’re not upset that your… uh… That your friend creeps me out.” The smile faltered. “Ah’m more worried about where Ah’ am, anyways.” This definitely wasn’t the Nowhere Islands, let alone Tazmily village.

Lucas was lost between worlds again.

Doraemon tried his best to keep a smile on his face despite the boy turning away. If Lucas were to ever gaze at him, he would be ready to appear as none-menacing as possible. All eyes were on Nobita for now to keep the peace. Doraemon’s eyes couldn’t record anything but at least they had night vision. 

“It’s cool, no one’s ever reacted to him this way before.” Nobita placed four fingers behind his head to represent animal ears, “Usually people think he’s a weird raccoon or tanuki or something.” He brought his hands back down, “Sorry about what happened to you before...”

“Would we be able to find out whether or not his body would keep them soon? I think it would be useful to have a timeframe so we can be more prepared.” Doraemon requested to Simeon while keeping his eyes on Nobita, “I have no experience with something like this.” 

“Just tell close friends? Got it.” Nobita gave a thumbs up. 

When Fei and Robin teleported into the small room all of a sudden, the surprise caused the duo to remain silent. At least it wasn’t the weirdest thing today so that greatly weakened the blow. When his mind was clear, Doraemon gave a sigh.

“Doraemon. My name is Doraemon, robot cat from the future!”

   Simeon isn’t sure as he was scratching his head but Fei did shyly approach Doraemon. “..I’m..Fei and this is Robin. Hi.”

   “I could try again but I don’t want another accident by some mishap on focus.” Simeon spoke up before he yawned a bit. “Maybe after a quick nap. I’m kinda sleepy.”

“Nice to meet you, Fei and Robin.” Doraemon nodded his head at Fei and responded in a quiet manner. He assumed the child would be more comfortable this way if he was more gentle.
