Is it just me or does anyone else feel different when they’re hungry, like my body looks different to me after I eat, like I can go the whole day not eating and I’ll feel skinny and my collar bones will seem to stick out more and my waist will be a little slimmer, But then the instant I eat feels like I grow 2 sizes bigger and all of a sudden I’m fat again and never want to eat again.
Why does this happen because I mean that’s not possible obviously it’s mental. But if I go 1 or more days fasting I feel immediately far skinnier.
me fasting: I don’t wanna do this
me binging: I don’t wanna do this
me restricting: I don’t wanna do this
me eating like a normal person: I don’t wanna do this
This actually really hit me
It really shows the effect of eating disorders
that Relatable™ mental illness feel when you can’t tell if your workload is unreasonable or if you’d actuallly be able to handle this if you had a functioning fucking brain
how i prevent a binge:
step one: distinguish why i want to eat.
-do i just like to walk in the kitchen for no good reason? -> walk around your room
-do i need to do something with my hands? -> play with your phone or look for sometting else to do with your hands.
-do i want to chew on something? -> chew gum (not your fingers/nails)
-do i crave something specific? -> (im working on that but..) scroll through tumblr and remind yourself why you do this.
step two: dont binge
