we always talk about how ryan poking the snake is a metaphor for his indulgence in queerness/"sin," juxtaposed by how naim was too scared to even go near it, but do we ever talk about how ryan was actually scared too... and that naim knows that? "ryan" doesn't deny it, and even tho it's not exactly trustworthy bc it's the entity in that scene, i do think it's telling
