Also kids are far less likely to be confused by something the younger they learn about it. Kiddo had queer people in his life and casual references to queerness before he could even talk. It was never confusing for him. It was normal.

Aqua loves magic so much and gets so dissapointed that Kris can’t do it, to the point that it ends her first battle, so I headcanon that she is what a younger Kris would act like IF they had magic. Not how they actually acted when younger.
