So, I am currently writing two Omegaverse Zukka fic called How to Seduce Your Husband and Hearts on the Mend, plus another Omegaverse fic, Heaven Sent/Hellbent, where the main pairing is Piandao/Zuko.
It’s currently under anon but I wanted a place to be able to talk about it so I made this tumblr.
I’m also planning on sharing about some other fic ideas I want to write, a lot about Zuko and him suffering or experiencing extreme pleasure (though usually both). And I always write happy endings, no matter how bad things may get.

I mean, we know Katara is on the South pole and Suki is a type of kyoshi warrior/bodyguard for Sokka, but like is Aang still in the iceberg? Will we see Toph as the story goes on?
And how did Iroh got to the power? Will the master Piandao teach Sokka how to sword fight? Will this two adorkable tonotos sword fight their feelings?
Also I really like the way you're still showing us that Sokka is a very smart person, (its one of my favorite qualities of Sokka), since it looks like a lot of people forget to write about it

The rest of the gang! Toph... I honestly haven't considered where she is, tbqh. I think she would be in the Earth Kingdom but NOT at home with her parents. Toph is smart, strong, resourceful and a rebel; even without Aang, she likely would not have stayed at home with the Beifongs forever. Especially if her dynamic would have forced her into a marriage without her say-so. As it is... still up in the air on that one. If she appears in the story, it will likely be in the sequel that I do have thoughts on. And YES I KNOW I need to finish the FIRST STORY before I even dare think of the sequel but I'm weak okay?? I cannot control what my mind conjures, despite myself
As for Aang, he is TOTES still in that iceburn lmao and sobs. I mean, he won't be there forever, but for now yes, he's in there. Or maybe he's already out... :3c
How Iroh got power.... Now, since you're asking for true spoilers, I'm tagging this post as SUPER SPOILERS but okay. So what happened was, Iroh came home, same as in canon, and noticed... something was going on with Zuko. And when he found out, he became very over-protective of him and did not let Zuko out of his sight. (He also murdered a man, but we're not getting into that part because that's asking even more spoilers that haven't yet been addressed). But since Iroh was already feeling particularly upset for Zuko's situation, when the fateful war meeting came about and the subsequent Agni Kai, Iroh did not just stand by. He will admit, he didn't ever think Ozai would actually harm Zuko, so when he actually burned Zuko's face that was kinda it for Iroh, and he threw down the gauntlet then and there. And he won.
But the story doesn't end there. Iroh, as we know, had by this point already seen the truth about fire bending from the two last dragons. He did not kill Ozai, but instead, he took Ozai with him as a prisoner and Azula (who had only just started having some revelations after seeing her father go down against Iroh) and tasked them with going up the mountain to meet the dragons. After several hours, Azula came back down the mountain. Ozai did not. Zuko knows absolutely NOTHING about this as he was still recovering from getting a good chunk of his face burned off (Jee was protecting Zuko in Iroh's stead during this time).
Azula left for a short time after that, a little more than half a year, before coming back to the palace with the Kyoshi Warriors in tow. She hasn't made any attempt to wrest the title of Crown Prince from Zuko since the incident.
As for Piandao... I do plan on having him enter the fic at a later time, and he does plan on teaching Sokka some swordplay lol Hopefully by that point, Sokka and Zuko will have a bit more emotional maturity and understanding towards one another that they won't have to fight out their feelings.
Thank you so much, Alby, for continuing to support me despite my... clear lack of motivation. I have been writing but it's been in bits and spurts. I want Sokka to really achieve something in this fic. He's going to show the world he isn't just the next Fire Lord's pet omega or some wilting flower. He's his own person and he can stand strong on his own and still help his people, even when he's thousands of miles away.
Once again, thank you for reading my fic and reminding me of why I started writing it in the first place. It's something dear to my heart, and I don't feel like I've given up on finishing it, but... I have such limited time to myself nowadays. Being a prince isn't all it's cracked up to be, it seems. |D

I ended up having a really interesting conversation with some people at the bus stop today. They were getting out of some sort of ‘clean and sober’ meeting and had starting saying how they were so bored because they didn’t have anything to do, and had to stay at home because all their old friends would pull them back. So I said something like, ‘So this is the time to do all the stuff your parents told you they didn’t have money/time for!’
“Whatcha mean?”
“You know, like when you were five and you REALLY wanted to have that toy or do that thing and you were like, ‘Please mom please I gotta have this I gotta go do this’ and they went ‘Hell no you think I’m paying for that do you want to goddamn EAT?’ “

Like, my assumption this whole time has been that when folks go "I misunderstood this post that says [thing] as saying [unrelated thing] because I mistook [word] for [completely different word that happens to start with the same letter]", that was a bit. Calling incest "taboo" when it's a literal form of abuse is not the wording I would use to defend its presence or people's interest in it on a site.
I use the word "taboo" because I only refer to "fiction", as in a taboo topic people write about in fiction. not real-life. fiction.
game of thrones has incest in it (so it is in a way taboo). and it is allowed to exist on a huge platform like hbo, because it's fiction and taboo fiction is NOT a crime.
lolita is taboo, but it's fiction, and it deserves to exist without being banned or censored.
non-con fics are taboo. because while it is vile and a crime in real life, just like incest, in fiction space where no one in real life is harmed, it is not a crime and it's legally allowed to exist and have a platform like ao3.
also no, I am not "defending the portrayal of taboo topics in fiction" even though I do love writing and reading about non-con. I am defending people's rights and freedom to create and consume whatever they want, however they want, including dark and taboo topics. as long as no one in real life is harmed.

I say this as both an author and someone who has been in fandom for a long time (15+ years): I do not trust the AO3 'Claude AI detector' skin. In fact, I will never trust any future "proof of AI" tools. Why? Because it's impossible to 100% know if someone used AI in any capacity.
I am anti-genAI, especially in creative fandom spaces, but I'm even bigger against witch hunts and harassment. Because that's all what this "exposed authors" document list (and future lists) is going to do. It doesn't matter if there's a big disclaimer about NOT attacking the people listed. The internet will do what the internet does nowadays and backstab anyone they deem unworthy, especially toward ones that they've been given the greenlight to attack.
The obsession and paranoia about wanting to make sure that every single fandom creation is not made with AI is, quite frankly, getting out of fucking hand. No, I don't want to read AI works. But I don't have enough time in the day or much less the ability to care about checking. If I suspect something is amiss, I'll just do the fandom of old: Don't Like, Don't Read. Don't Like? Don't Engage. Hit the back button.
No one owes anything to anyone. No photo proof. No video proof. No screenshots or anything else.
Lastly: Instead of calling out authors who might be using AI to help them create, why not encourage the use of non-AI resources? Writers Helping Writers. An old fashioned thesaurus. Word Hippo. And so much more that is out there, which some people may not even be aware about.
This “detector” has already been proven to show false positives. It’s crap. It’s fear mongering and witch hunt inciting.
There are people out there using grammarly to edit their work because English might not be their first language, or they don’t know enough people to find a beta, or they’re dyslexic, or god knows how many other reasons.
There are people out there who are on the spectrum and their written work reads like ChatGPT because that’s how their brain works. There are people out there who are so goddamn skilled at what they do, others struggle to believe it’s real.
Do you know who else was like that? Michelangelo. Do you know *how many people* have stood in front of the statue of David and thought *how the fuck did any human create that?*
There are soo many telented people out there who are infinitely better than you, be it written word or drawn image, or hell, even a photoshopped picture. Just because you can’t do it doesn’t mean it’s impossible to do.
Stop adding to the witch hunts. Stop trying to cancel people loudly.
