As many of you know, I retired from my position and life of leading @QeynoGroup. I know this may upset some of the many thousands of people my incredible team and I have impacted, but it was my decision to begin a new journey - a bigger and brighter one that encapsulates my fullest imagination (...no reason to get excited, the thief/hacker, he kindly spoke...). Since then, I excitedly serve on national boards of breakthrough organizations, delivering talks and speeches that fully reflect the culmination of my life’s work and personal escapades, in addition to preparing my memoir - to be released in 2020 (but you and I, we’ve been through that...). This is my first public announcement, that by looking at the man in the mirror, I have failed at the person I am supposed to be, to become the person I am meant to be, and I’m happier for it. As I approach my 40th year as Kalimah Priforce, this majestic tale of mine is far from over. (...and this is not our fate...). The next iteration of Qeyno is in the future but I'll always remain a champion for transforming the lives of low opportunity youth towards becoming hackers of their hidden genius. It will look a bit differently, but the magic will still be there, as it will finally be my most authentic expression, no more shifting my persona from one audience to another (...so let us stop talkin’ falsely now...). In my opinion, the question of #prochoice vs. #prolife should have never become a medical or religious one. It should have always been about #race. At no point should white men determine what people of color should do with their own bodies unless we have provided consent (joining the military, medical procedures). Even those who are incarcerated have rights over their bodies, though private prisons find ways around their liberties. After hundreds of years of slavery, #JimCrow, Japanese internment camps, Jewish Disease Hospital, Chinese transatlantic railroad exploitation, Tuskegee Experiment, Puerto Rico Pill Trials, and everything Native American - it is neither racist or unpatriotic to demand that white men NOT be granted any powers that determine the ownership or control of the bodies of people of color, especially women of color. Once we remove ourselves from legislation that determines our bodies can white women challenge the control of white men determining theirs. White men are obsessed with what we do with the bodies of everyone but them; therefore, #Reparations begins with our bodies. Big Brother Advice #1 to my brothers and mentees (queer and non-queer). After the great exploration of finding your personal magic, as you root yourself in life-building missions - you will begin to yearn for the right partner to share your adventures with.  I have known many loves, to which I am never embarrassed to admit or evanesce, and like me, you have faced insurmountable hardships and scarcity while seeing the good in yourself and others. I impart this wisdom that was passed onto me along with that which I have discovered myself:  Your truest purpose is revealed when you start really loving yourself. Not the passive love that comes from comfort or circumstance, but the healthy love that releases you from what you are supposed to be and reminds you of what you are meant to be. Happiness does not come to you, but FROM you. From there, you may select the best of possible suitors, and leave the rest for your peers.  They are beautiful, but not too pretty - as it stops them from developing a great sense of humor and a joyous personality to match. They are intelligent, but their self-study brings mindfulness. Curiosity is greater than smartness.  Before you consider their race, their class, the work they do, or the schools they belong to, the most important thing is that they have gotten "human being" right. This means that when life surprises them, they neither flight, fight, or freeze in the face of change. They embrace it with leaps of faith. Faith is the essence of character and not the basking of privilege. They are bold enough to not allow the total pursuit to be solely yours. They courageously abandon archaic notions of courtship with a relentlessness that meets you half way, if not further. They show up even when you expect them not to. These qualities are rare, but they exist in abundance in an abundant universe, and you will find a peace within them that reflects your complete well being. This is my advice. There has been so much happening in my life recently - wonderfully BIG changes that I will be sharing publicly soon (I need approval before doing so), but one of the things I can share is that I have just been reunited with my two long lost youngest brothers who were placed in the foster care system in similar ways that my (second-born) brother and I were also placed in the system. Unlike he and I who were 8 and 6 years old respectively, my youngest brothers were just one and two years old and therefore I would not be able to find them under their birth names for over 24 years... I have no words that come close to express the feelings exploding in my chest right now (so much for going to bed early), the heart palpations, and the tears rolling down my cheeks. They are happy tears. All the work I have done has been in the memory of not just my second brother (who was shot and killed at 18 years old) but dedicated to these two who I wouldn't go a day without thinking of. I wanted to shine so bright in my life, that if I couldn't find them, they would find me...and they did! Their sister @rivanyri and I are blessed to be (re)connecting with them, and throughout the tragedies that separated us (you can read their story on one of the included images), and the questions and stories we all have to share with each one another, my greatest sense of relief is that through it all - they had each other. Our brother was certainly watching over us. I am My Brother's Keeper, God(dess) is good, and now I can finally fall asleep.
