I've been messing around with Bleach London hair colours - Check it out! http://www.prettylittlevibe.com/2014/10/bleach-london-hair-colours.html
Recent Bobbi Brown purchases now up on my blog. www.prettylittlevibe.com #bbloggers #fbloggers #bobbibrown #makeup
I'VE BEEN DISTANT!
My relationship with Tumblr hasn't been the best these past couple of months. I've been concentrating on my blogspot blog more and neglecting good ol' tumblr! I'm sorry - I'll try and relay posts on here as much as I can.
NEW LIPSTICKS
I'd had a really bad day a work last week so decided to go lipstick shopping to try and cheer myself up. I picked up five new lipsticks, but I've sadly lost my favourite of them all due to this weekends antics - It was the new L'Oreal L'Extraordinaire Liquid Lipstick in shade 600 Nude Vibrato. I'm not usually a fan of lipgloss or liquid lipstick because my hair tends to blow around and get stuck to my lips, but the colour of this was just amazing, I'll definitely be picking up another one! This first two lipsticks I picked up were by Natural Collection and it was the price that I was drawn to more than anything. They were only £1.99 each (could have been £2.99 - I can't find them online) The price is reflected in the quality of the packaging and in the wear of the lipstick, but they're both great nude colours. The first is Lotus - This is the lightest lipstick I bought (It hardly shows up on the swatch!), and it just helps to enhance you're natural lip colour. Like I said the wear isn't great and you do have to reapply it a few times through out the day.
The second is Sand Castle - This looks like it would be darker than it actually is. When I tested it I wasn't expecting it to come out as light as it actually did.
The third lipstick I picked up was one of the Rimmel London Colour Rush Balms - I chose shade 100 - Give me a cuddle. This is a lot pinker than any other lipsticks I own, I tend to stick to neutral colours, but due to summer approaching I thought it was about time I added some colour to my lips!
The final out of the four lipsticks that remain in my possession is a Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss. Apart from the L'Oreal Liquid Lipstick this is my favourite out of the Lipsticks, it's super moisturising and the colour intensity is fab! Again another pink for the collection.

What's in my bag - uni edition is now up. Www.prettylittvibe.blogspot.com #whatsinmybag #uni #student #fashion #style #beauty #blog
WHAT'S IN MY BAG - UNI EDITION
My first week back at Uni is complete and my bag is feeling a lot heavier with all the extras I've been taking in with me. I like to be organised and make sure I have everything I could possibly need when I'm there. So what's in my bag?
Lets start off with the bag itself... My Michael Kors Mac bag! This is one of my most precious possessions. It has three main sections to the bag. The middle section has a padded lining to protect my Mac when I'm out and about. The front compartment has a phone holster as well as a medium sized pocket for things such as lipsticks, chewing gum and hair ties. The back section has a large pockets that is connected to the middle section - I usually stick my make up in this section away from everything else just in case anything leaks! There is also a zip pocket on the back section that is perfect for hiding sanitary towels and tampons! Only downside is that it doesn't have a zip to keep it closed so I can't take it out in the rain! Boo. Apple - £250
Not the most exciting item, I know, but a notebook is a must for Uni students. Don't expect to coast through without taking notes. Yes lecturers put their slides online, but it's not explained in as much detail as it is in class. You can also see that I'm a bit of a neat freak when it comes to my notes, I loves everything to be colour coordinated and laid out correctly. It's the only way that it makes sense to me. Wilkinsons - £2
To help with my colourful obsession I carry around a huge pencil case with every coloured pen you could think of. You'll often see me at my desk surrounded by clutter trying to find which pen lid belongs to which pen. Collected over the years.
I take my iPad to uni with me, just because sometimes it's a little easier than getting my mac out, especially if it's just to quickly look something up. It fits in my bad nicely and doesn't weigh too much either. Pay Monthly Contract - £32pm
At the moment I've got the latest issue of Elle in my bag, I've marked all the pages I like and think I could create ideas on. I get this out if I've got a short break along with my blog notebook and jot down ideas that I can make my own. Elle - £4
Yep, you guessed it! My blog notebook has been travelling everywhere with my lately, and I find myself getting it out and the most random of times and writing ideas down so that I don't forget them! Urban Outfitters - £12
\My Macbook. Now you might think it's a little weird for me to take my iPad and my mac, but I think it's nice to have the choice of which one to choose. They're both linked to iCloud so I can access any of my documents on either, it just depends on how I'm feeling on the day. Apple - Around £1500
As I mentioned in yesterdays post, all this work in front of the computers is putting a strain on my eyes, so I'm now required to wear glasses when at the computer and when concentrating. Of course i still want to look good so I chose a pair of Ray-Bans for my frames. Vision Express - £209
I have to travel for about twenty minutes to get to and from uni so having music is essential! I love zoning out and going into my own world when I walking to uni, it makes the time god so much quicker. It also helps me concentrate when editing as I can take myself out of the classroom and truly focus on what I'm doing. Apple £199
Now with being at Uni most days from 9 right through till 4 I have to make sure I stay fresh and smell good, so I always make sure I've got deodorant and perfume in my bag. This months flavour - Hugo Boss Orange.
I like to wear my hair down, and often don't style it after I've curled it the day before, I just leave it for a few hours and when I feel like it's a bit flat I chuck a bit of this in! It boost the volume in your hair so much! You look like you're ready to pull that guy you fancy behind the bar at the S.U!
If I'm having a super bad hair day, or my hair is getting in the way of my work I'll garb this clip out of my bag and put together a half up half down do, to keep the quirkiness of my wavy hair but to make it a little more professional for when I'm working. H & M - £2.99 (pack of two)
I often buy my lunch at Uni purely for the convenience of it, so I have to make sure I've got my purse to hand. I love the colour of this, and haven't found myself needing a new one in a while! It's done me proud! Topshop - £16
I try not to wear too much make up to Uni, but I always make sure I've got these on hand to sort out any beastie spots that appear during the day, I only take concealer as my make stays in most of the day, these are just for the imperfections that keep flaring up. I always apply my concealer with a Mac 207 brush.
Last but not least, I always chuck whatever lipstick I'm wearing in my bag so that I can top it up through out the day!
Let me know if you guys like this sort of post and I'll make sure to post more.

OUTFIT OF THE DAY!
So today was my first day back at Uni after Christmas break and boy was I glad to be back! my routine is finally back to normal and I'm no longer stuck wondering what to do with myself! This will hopefully mean that my spending won't as much these next couple of months as I actually won't have any time to go shopping! Anyway here's what I wore today:
As much as I love dressing up, making and effort and looking good, most of it goes out of the window when It comes to Uni days. Comfort is key. Most of the time I'm there from 9 till 4, sometimes even later, so wearing something I'm going to be uncomfortable in is not ideal!
You guys probably know by now how much I rave about these jeans... so you might as well hear about them some more. These are the Joni fit jeans from Topshop in a dark denim blue colour, they're high wasted and are super flattering so I still feel a bit stylish when wearing them. They're also mega comfortable, I often sit with my legs folded on my seat and these don't restrict that at all. Topshop - £38
I mentioned that I'm a huge fan of slouchy tops a few times, and this was a great find for me when I went shopping last week. This top is just a plain t-shirt nothing fancy... that's what you think when you see the front, but when you see the back it turns into something completely different. The back is a crochet/lace pattern and is slightly see-through so gives this top a bit of an edge. I bought it in a size 12 so that it's slightly bigger for me and i can wear it off one of my shoulders. I also bought it in white. Topshop - £16
Dr. Martins! My saviours this winter! I'd love to wear wells but for some reason most people find it unacceptable to wear them unless it's snowing. So these are a great alternative, as well as being on trend. Pair them with jeans, a dress, shorts and a pair of tights and you're good to go no matter what! I know that these will carry on making an appearance in my Uni wardrobe for the next couple of months. Office - £75 (Discounted from £100)
This watch seems to be cropping up in all of my outfits! It's soon becoming my favourite item of all time! My arm feels bare if I don't wear anything on it, and this just completes the outfit. Ebay - £1.71
Now due to the course that I'm doing at Uni I'm required to be in front of a computer for all of my seminars, as well as all the work that I do on my Mac at home. This puts a strain on my eyes, and a few months ago I found that my eye sight was suffering from it all. So I went to get my eyes tested and I was advised to wear glasses when concentrating and when at the computer. So of course I picked out a pair of Ray-Ban frames! Vision Express - £209

I'M TERRIBLE
I started off so well posting almost everyday on here! Sometimes even more than once in a day! I'm letting you guys and myself down. I am so determined to get back to where I started and put all my efforts into this. It's just that I have been pretty busy getting back into my normal routine with Uni and work and over Christmas I had a lot of spare time to write posts, this is where you guys say "but you had it all planned out in your notebook?!" Yes I did but all I find myself doing whenever I get home from work or Uni is sleep! So this is my promise to you... I promise: To post AT LEAST twice a week To post more content rather than pictures To get you guys involved! - With the blog getting bigger and bigger its time to make the most of it and grab the opportunities with both hands so if anyone wants to write a guest post feel free to email me! ([email protected]) Again I apologise for the lack of posts, but keep your eyes peeled as I've been spending a lot these past couple of weeks so I've got lots of reviews coming up!

REVIEW: AMERICAN APPAREL NAIL LACQUER (NEON ORANGE)
I bought this nail varnish for a rave themed night out with the intention of never wearing it again. I was going to wear it once then just throw it in a junk draw. However as soon as I opened the bottle I fell in love with it! I’m not normally one to love neon but this nail varnish just stood out so much!
I find that with most neon colours I have to apply several coats to get a solid colour but to get a good coverage on your nails you only need two to three coats (that’s pretty standard for a nail varnish anyway). Now you'd think that because you only need a few the formula would be really thick and sticky... it's not! It's so easy to sweep across your nails without having really bad brush marks.
The colour is so bright (Under UV lights it looks amazing!) and stays on your nails for days! It’s also a really strong formula so it doesn’t chip easily like some other nail varnishes. If you’re going on holiday and don’t want to get your nails done or don’t want keep applying the varnish I would definitely recommend this to you!

My 10 wardrobe staples for January into February are now up! Www.prettylittlevibe.blogspot.com #blog #fashion #style
10 WARDROBE STAPLES FOR JANUARY INTO FEBRUARY
As promised I'm bringing you my wardrobe staples for january into february. Up here in the North of the UK it's freezing! January and February are very cold up here so it's essential to keep warm as well as look good. So lets get to it!
1.Up first it's a warm coat! Coat shopping is one of the most stressful types of shopping! There's so much to choose from and it can be difficult to find a coat that you love and is right for you! I had my eye on these cosy bugger for a while but never got round to buying it. So when I finally told myself it was getting cold, I went and picked it up. Vans - £150.
2. Of course you've got to have a warm and cosy pair of shoes, and what better to go for than a pair of Dr.Martins. I've been wearing these to death during the day as they're just so toasty! Office - £75
3. Tartan! A lot of people are now thinking that tartan is over rated... it's definitely not! Tartan looks good on anyone no matter what shape or size you are! This cute little piece has a lovely peter pan collar and is great with layers added on top. Primark - £12
4. A solid pair of boots! Now being warm is one thing, but looking good is another! Take advantage of chunky heeled boots in these colder months as you can still get away with wearing them without people thinking you're a complete twat. Boohoo - £35
5. Fluffy Jumpers. These are essential for keeping warm in the winter. Eyelash jumpers are my fave at the moment! I've got lots of different colours. This looks great with jeans or a skirt and is also super cosy! H & M - £16
6. Leather (faux) skirt. You may have been seeing this a lot in my Outfit Of The Day posts. A lot of people think that because it's cold you can't wear a skit. But trust me you can. With a thick pair of tights and a nice pair of boots this bad boy looks amazing. Forever 21 - £17
7. A nice watch. Leave the jewellery at home and accessories your outfit with a watch. It's so simple and if you find the right one for you it looks great. Ebay - £1.71
8. Comfy Jeans. I rave about these Jeans, every girl should own a pair! These are Joni fit from Topshop. They're super comfy but warm as well so I can slouch around the house in them without feeling restricted. Topshop - £38
9. Another coat! Now I don't know about you lot, but I get bored of wearing the same coat in and out everyday, that's why I've got about five. After wearing my housemates Barbour Style jacket whilst she was away over winter break, I went out and got my own. It looks like it wouldn't be that warm, but trust me it is! Urban Outfitters - £95
10. A happy medium! As well as having flats and boots, you've got to have something in-between. These cute flats have a small platform and a really nice gold buckle to add a bit of detail. These are perfect with jeans if you want to add a dainty shoe to your outfit. Topshop - £46
