_Lo Collective, Abend Gallery, and the Artist Decoded podcast will be presenting “_Lo_01_LA_2016,” an exhibition that will bring viewers a wide-ranging look at different mediums, perspectives, and artistic approaches, and will create a dialogue between abstraction, figuration, performance, and installation art, opening on July 9, 2016. 

This will not be a typical contemporary painting show, but rather a nexus of varied disciplines with similar philosophies—traditionalism colliding with futurism—including works by such artists as (above): Steve Kim, Daniel Segrove, Mia Bergeron, Felicia Forte, Justin Hopkins and Felipe Alonso plus others.

Robert Plutchik created a wheel of emotions in 1980 which consisted of 8 basic emotions and 8 advanced emotions each composed of 2 basic ones.
