Holy shit.
Top: Nintendo has been proven to use the fan website The Spriters Resource to access sprites from their own games, instead of taking the sprites from their own archives. A sprite in Super Mario Maker (later even reused in Super Mario Maker 2) contains a pixel underneath Mario's mustache with a color that does not actually appear in Super Mario World. However, that exact color appeared in a sheet submitted to that site that was up in 2013-2015, at the time of the game's development.
Since the only way we know Nintendo used fanmade rips of their content was because they forgot to remove the pixel in this instance, it stands to reason that many more instances exist that are unknowable due to Nintendo successfully scrubbing out any traces of the original sheets.
Bottom: for everyone who is interested in sprites or is already a fan or user of The Spriters Resource, you may find it interesting to tune in to a livestream that is currently occurring whereby a new design for the site is being showcased. All feedback from the viewers is appreciated and will be considered for changes and future updates!

i think something that is often overlooked in conversations about platonic and romantic relationships in media and the argument that “two people can just be friends” is that a big part of being queer, for me personally at least, is that i am deeply in love with my friends and would do absolutely anything for them and this sentiment alone opposes the heteronormative idea that your friends are supposed to play a secondary role in your life after a certain point. my friends are not just my friends. they’re not just anything. they’re my friends.
A trans girl who insists she’s not the “mommy” type—too shy, too awkward, too flustered whenever I even hint at it. She scoffs when I tease her, rolling her eyes, pretending she doesn’t like the way it sounds.
Until it slips.
Until she’s buried deep inside me, hips snapping forward, and it just falls out of my mouth in a desperate, breathless moan.
"Mommy."
She freezes. Her whole body tenses, eyes wide, breath hitching in her throat. And then, as if something inside her snaps—
She ruins me.
Gone is the hesitant, bashful girl who once denied it. Now she’s gripping my hips like she owns me, pounding into me like she’s lost all sense of self, like the only thing that matters is hearing me sob that word over and over again. Mommy, mommy, mommy.
And now? Now, I don’t get to call her anything else.
Not babe. Not princess. Not even her name.
Just Mommy.
And god help me, I never want to stop.
only 5 seconds
i wasn't ready for that..lol
Immediately recognized that look
girl who just wants to play her little games and fill in her little spreadsheets but the transfem discord server is demanding she participate in the group moaning session.
i grew up in a household raised by a conservative father who was born in the mid 40s. he voted Republican every election for 60+ years, listened to talk radio - Michael Savage, Bill O'Reilly, etc. in the throes of 9/11, he parroted every racist, xenophobic, nationalistic Fox News talking point he heard. he softened quite a bit in the last few years of his life but was more or less the same person.
the way that i see and hear the average American talk about the Middle East today - down to the most tuned in, Trump hating, Kamala Harris worshiping Democrat voters who spend all day on reddit - is indistinguishable from my dad. the only thing missing is the occasional outright slur peppered in and honestly you get that every once in a while. everything else is, without embellishment, identical. i feel like it got better for a brief moment but it didn't last.
i've been called out for "cherry picking" these comments, but i think it's very troubling when i look at the amount of likes/upvotes/shares/interactions the comments get, the fact that they're almost always the top comments on what most consider - outside of perhaps tumblr - to be *the* liberal/left wing social media website and the fact that there are examples in *every single* post about the topic. if the average person who spends all day on reddit is talking like that, what do we think the average American who has never met or interacted with an Arab person in their life or who isn't tapped into what is going on right now in the world is saying? it's probably pretty similar.

(through gritted teeth) sometimes what's good for your mental health isn't another do nothing day or a little treat sometimes what's good for you is putting in some of the work. Not all of it at once but sometimes you have to finish that essay or at least take the next step or you have to clean your room or at least dust the shelves or you gotta do the laundry or at least put it all in the hamper and it's not fun and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks but you have to because i read a post on the internet that told me that's what being nice to yourself is sometimes
Are you guys ok you’re all reblogging this post a lot
honestly bedsheets are developing new topologies and geometric forms in the middle of the night and nobody knows why and its really scary
yeah im finally old enough to have sheets on my bed😁its really nbd tho haha
Being trans and working in an office is funny sometimes
My boss: I have a question for you
Me, thinking: oh fuck I messed something up didn't I
My boss: a personal question
Me, still thinking: ah, this is about my penis. I know these matters well
You truly are a fucking saint and I hope that kid knows you're the reason why because I would've KILLED for that kind of leeway as a teenager
Be careful though, some day you'll get blind sided. When I worked in pharmaceutical manufacturing I never really came out as trans, but I still didn't pass well and often talked about things that would only have happened if I'd been born female. I never came out, but I knew everyone knew. One day, one of my more socially unaware coworkers asked if he could ask me a personal question. I said sure, and he lead me away from the group to a side hallway where no one else was around. And then he dropped the question:
"If they made a real jurassic park, would you go?"
dude im feeling so dysphoric rn…. and the only thing that can help me…. cough….. is a fat stack of benjamins…. 🥺
Sometimes the technology conspires against me to make me sound crazy in my text messages.
Horrible government operatives
