"It is 7am. Residents may now roam."

>>The cell doors open, allowing me to head outside.

>>I might as well go meet other Residents and see what I could learn of this place. And possibly about me.

>>Before I do, I check the drawers of my desk.

>>Okay, I guess I'll head out. I go through the doors and look around.

>>On the adjacent walls of my room were other cells. One on each wall.

>>I'm not sure where to go, but I should at least ask someone about this place before they leave.

# "Hey, what's up." They look up at me, who's standing outside their cell.

# "Oh hey, you're the newbie everyone's been talking about. Mornin'."

# "This is the Atmintis Observational Station. They observe us here."

>>"I don't understand. Why do they observe us?"

# "Huh? Guess you weren't paying attention during orientation?"

# "Oh, I see. You don't have your holder on you?"

# "An accessory that holds your memories. You put it on and your memory is stored in it."

# "Everyone here's got a personal one."

>>The jailmate holds up their hands, showing off their gloves.
