While I myself am not very fond of Mondays, merely on principle, here at PUD we do usually have at least one thing to look forward to. While today's is a bit small, I'm still pleased to announce we do have one new addition to our family!

You can keep every detail you need, minus the reasoning and para sample.  If the reason why you took a character is for another character, that obviously doesn't make sense.  The para sample we prefer to be in the voice of that character so that we can get a feel of how you'll play them.  Sorry about that extra work.

Hello, hello!  Yet another chipper introduction right from one of your mods.  I would just like to say before we begin casting that I'm really happy with the amount of applications we've received as of late.  However, most of you might have noticed that majority of those applications were for the same character(s).  If you are not cast tonight, do not take offense to it.  We mods were incredibly impressed by the results we received and were sad to have picked a single person.

That being said, we highly encourage the applicants that were not accepted to consider applying for other characters.  We loved all of the content we received, and would honestly love having you all here.  We really hope you do consider this!

A centuries old Fae, Pabbie is known amongst his kin for his extraordinary (even by their standards) talent in the art of healing, and as being a sort of wise-man. He’s seen the good and bad times of his kin, fought in the wars of man and the wars of Fae, and seen the true nature of humans and his people. Even the Seelie, who claim to be so high and mighty and pure, can be just as cruel and ruthless as their counterparts. The humans are just so, but he blames their nature on ignorance, as they have such short life spans in which to learn. He is an old soul, in more ways than one, and for many years has secluded himself from the general population. Even so he has earned a reputation, occasionally receiving visitors with terminal illnesses, some even seeking a magickal cure for their everyday problems. One case in particular has stuck with him, that of a young girl struck with her sister’s magick. He knew the elder sister’s magick was Fae, but sensed there was more than changeling mischief at play. He also knew that Elsa’s powers were more than they first seemed, for Anna’s head was not just struck with ice, but with the power to inflict despair and death, which made it that much worse. He knew that both courts would covet her magick, and that the humans would fear it. He warned her parents what the discovery of her powers could mean, and urged them to help her control it. Also fearing for Anna’s safety, he removed all memories of her sister’s magick, knowing ignorance would keep her safe. Since then Pabbie has kept his ears to the ground, listening for whispers of Elsa’s discovery in the Fae world. So far he has heard nothing, but with the disturbance at the Faery Fort and more of his kin gravitating to Disney, his worry has only become worse. Conveniently, his adopted grandson Kristoff has befriended the youngest Arrendelle, providing him with a steady (if not very detailed) feed of information on the girls. Pabbie does not wish to get involved in the matters of the Fae, but for one reason or another he feels responsible for the girls’ safety.

"People make bad choices if they're mad, or scared, or stressed. Throw a little love their way, and you'll bring out their best."

Kristoff’s no nonsense adopted mother, Bulda is a loud, warm woman with enough room in her heart for all the strays of Disney. Kristoff is about the only one she’s taken in, seeing as not many wander as far back into the woods as The Valley Of Living Rock. Really the only visitors they get are customers, or Fae relatives passing through. She knows it hasn’t made for the best socializing for her adopted son, and she tends to worry about whether or not he’ll ever settle down with a nice girl (or boy, she doesn’t care about that sort of thing). She’s constantly trying to meddle in his personal life, heavily suggesting that she expects grandchildren (or really just outright saying it, she’s not known for her subtlety). With the introduction of Anna Arrendelle in his life, she’s become a little concerned for his safety, knowing of the business with her sister, but more than that she’s become hopeful. She constantly inquires about Anna, when he’ll be seeing her next, when she’ll be coming ‘round for dinner, etcetera. While Bulda does prefer seclusion, like her father, she’s also a caretaker at heart. In her free time, she often takes medicine, food and blankets to the few homeless of Disney, and when the weather is especially cold she even brings them home (their house is much bigger than it looks, with rooms seemingly popping up whenever they’re needed). She’s impressed her morals upon Kristoff, raising him to be kind, considerate and sensitive, and it’s safe to say she’s pleased with how he’s grown up.

"Oh, look at that. I've been impaled."

A being of child-like cheer and innocence, Olaf has always been well liked amongst his kin, and a favorite of the Queen. It came as no surprise when he was assigned to a very special case, watching over one Elsa Arrendelle. He wasn’t given many details, just told to watch from afar and report back every year on the summer solstice when the Seelie gathered to celebrate. It was a bit more difficult than it sounded, as the Arrendelles kept both of their daughters locked rather securely in their large estate. He would occasionally see the family out on the town, and while he could tell they all felt strained, everything else seemed to be in order. He lived in town, making himself as inconspicuous as possible, and every day took a stroll down the moor road on which the Arrendelles resided. He never had much to report to the Queen, besides the incident with Anna, that is until the death of Mr. and Mrs. Arrendelle. Many people, townsfolk, employees of the mining company and relatives attended the memorial, so Olaf was able to as well. Much to his concern, only Anna was in attendance. Instead of waiting for the Summer Solstice, he reported to the Queen immediately (who was already in Disney due to the Event). She instructed him to remain at his post, but instead of watching from afar, to attempt to form a relationship with the girls as soon as possible, and to report back to her once a month.

Hans Isles || 23 || Thirteenth in line of the Southern Isles Trading Company || Civilian || FC: Chris Pine

"As thirteenth in line in my own kingdom, I didn't stand a chance. I knew, I'd have to marry into the throne somewhere... "

Being the youngest of thirteen brothers, anyone would expect Hans to be a little different. However, they’ll find that he’s impeccably charming, with excellent manners and an extra helping of charisma. They’ll also find, in due time, that he uses these attributes to manipulate those around him to fit his needs and wants. You see, being the youngest of thirteen brothers, Hans has often felt forgotten, or left behind. No matter how hard he tries, it seems as though his parents refuse to see that he should be the one to take over the company, that he is more worthy than any of his elder siblings. With bitterness in his heart, he left his home in Denmark and travelled to Disney, Ireland, where the owners of Arendelle Mining Corporation had recently perished in a car accident. He had heard that they had left behind two daughters, and saw the opportunity to make a home, and a name for himself. Originally intending to pursue the eldest daughter, Elsa, he quickly observed that she was closed off, and immediately turned his attentions to the younger, Anna. He was pleased with the naiivity of the young girl, and after less than a month he had secured her hand in marriage*.  Viewing Elsa’s refusal in letting them marry as a minor setback, more than willing to wait the few months until summer and Anna’s 18th birthday. He also knows, that in order to inherit the riches of Arendelle Mining Corporation, he will need to stage a little accident for Elsa soon after their marriage. And Hans is willing to do just that, as he will let nothing get in the way of what he wants.

As for a most wanted list; no, we don't have one (if you don't see it on the main list of navigation links nor the character navigation, it doesn't exist). We want you to take whichever character speaks to you most. If you can't decide between a few characters we'll be glad to help you pick between them, but out of every character in the rp it is up to you to choose one that you think you can portray best. We're unlikely to accept your application if you simply list "because someone else wanted me to take them" in the "why I want this character" part of the app. 

Kristoff Bjordman || 21 || Miner at Arendelle Mining Corporation || Canine Empathic Communication || FC: Ansel Elgort

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, put your feet down. This is fresh lacquer. Seriously, were you raised in a barn?"

Orphaned before he was old enough to remember it, Kristoff started his life without any real guidance.  One fateful chilly winter night, when Kristoff was ten years old, he was wandering the streets of Disney instead of returning to the orphanage. Suddenly, an odd sigh came through the town, a car that left a trail of ice in it’s path. Curious, he followed the trail to an old stone cottage in the woods. Those who had been in the car had already gone inside, and Kristoff watched through the window. He witnessed The Arendelles with their two daughters, one of whom appeared ill. He witnessed the inhabitant of the house remove magick and all memories of magick from Anna Arrendelles head. After the Arrendelles left, Kristoff lingered around the house, only to be discovered by the owner’s daughter, Bulda. She took him inside, gave him a meal, and by the end of the week she and Pabbie had adopted him. They lived a simple, but comfortable life together. Kristoff knew what they were, but he never asked to dabble in their magick, understanding how dangerous it could be. When Kristoff turned eighteen, he got a job at Arrendelle Mining Corporation, working in the mines. In order to celebrate this, his family gifted him with an Irish Wolfhound pup, who, due to their magic, would live as long as he did. It was clear from the beginning he shared a special connection with the dog, whom he named Sven, and after The Event he found he could sort of communicate with him, and any other dog. After the death of Mr. and Mrs. Arrendelle, Kristoff attended the memorial (as did most of the employees) where he met their youngest daughter, Anna. Since then the two have formed a rather odd acquaintance-ship, as they almost always end up bickering whenever they see each other. However, Kristoff is rather concerned for Anna, believing her recent engagement to Hans Isles to be an impulsive and reckless decision, and he just doesn’t trust the guy.

Anna Arendelle || 17 || Homeschooled || Civilian || FC: Saoirse Ronan

"It's not nice to throw people!"

You’d think being shut off from the outside world at a young age, the youngest Arendelle would be a bit shy. However, she’s quite the opposite; quirky, outgoing, and the teeniest bit obnoxious. Whether it’s due to only having her mostly-absent sister and a few servants for company, or just naturally a part of her personality, Anna is generally about as awkward as a teenager can be. On the rare occasion she’s allowed outside the Arendelle’s extensive property on the outskirts of Disney, she has a tendency to blurt out whatever comes to mind. It often results in her trademark, “Wait, what?”, when she realizes she’s said something she probably shouldn’t have. Anna has no recollection of the night her older sister accidently struck her in the head with magick, in fact she has no recollection of her sister’s magick at all. She is also under the impression that she was born with the white streak in her hair. What she does remember, is how close they used to be, and Elsa suddenly shutting her and the rest of the world out. It was bearable at first, despite how much she missed her best friend, but after their parents’ death less than a year ago, she’s become more and more frustrated. She wants to know why her sister went into hiding, and why she was cut off from the rest of the world as well. But more than anything, she needs her big sister. It might be this need for comfort, or her general naiivity, that allowed her to be so easily wooed by the older and indeed quite charming Hans Isles. After knowing him for less than a month, she accepted his hand in marriage*. But as she is still under guardianship of her sister, who says she is too young to marry, the couple has to wait until Anna turns 18 in the summer. Anna is convinced she’s found her true love, and has no idea of the dastardly plans her fiance has for her sister, and Arendelle Mining Corporation. Even with the constant criticisms of her (also new) acquaintance, Kristoff Bjordman, she refuses to see the flaws in her engagement.
