it wasn’t unusual to look over & find mitsuri staring... especially while others were training !!! her admiration for her fellow pillars was probably unrivaled, each of them holding a special spot in her heart-- they gave her strength. 

ˊ incredible,  ˋ & she gasped, on the edge of her seat as the fire pillar demonstrated yet another form in front of the new recruits.  ˊ you’re just so amazing, rengoku !!!  ˋ

her voice carried over all of them, powerful affections indeed-- mitsuri needed his attention regardless, they were going to miss tea !!! 

the tree behind her creaked as weight shifted & the hairs on her neck stood up straight-- it scuttled & shredded it’s way through the ground to get to her, the sound muffling the branch that shuddered with the loss of weight. she was unwavering, sword gripped between the softest, but strongest hands any of their kind had seen-- this was her blessing.

-- before her strife had even began, it was ended swiftly... earth shattering before her eyes as something dropped down from the heavens, purple tresses flying about in the wind that such a shock wave created. it was inhuman.

ˊ gods, ˋ mitsuri groaned, effortlessly kicking & slicing down the rubble that shot in her direction. ˊ give me STRENGTH. ˋ

her hands sat gently upon soft thighs, bright jade eyes looking him over as he spoke– mitsuri remained silent, though she was in quiet agreement. 

ˊ that’s admirable…  ˋ came her hushed reply, eyes falling to her hands as she picked at her nails a bit.  ˊ i suppose people care a little too much, myself included at one point. ˋ
