Is it just me, or did Picard retcon ds9? Cause I feel like after fighting alongside the Romulans against the Dominion, the Federation wouldn't view them so much as enemies anymore. Ya know?
I always had the impression that that was a temporary alliance, because they knew that neither were strong enough alone to defeat the Dominion. Once the threat was gone, the Romulans would go right back to being suspicious against the Federation.
What I do want to know is how the Cardassians are fairing after DS9
Itās kinda like in WW2, the West and Soviets were allies, but once the war ended. It didnāt take long for the Cold War to start.
