#frankenstein#oscar isaac filmography#brb throwing myself INTO THE FUCKING SUN#he was so gentle and joyful with his creation for like one whole minute#and the creature closing his eyes and turning his face into the warmth and comfort of his touch at the beginning GOD#especially when juxtaposed with him shying away from his hand in fear and terror later#I feel like the progression of victor being ecstatic about his creation to fully hating it could have been explored more#there was the voiceover which said that weeks had passed and victor saying he had never considered what to do after creation which helped#and victor becoming abusive was inevitable given the story gdt wanted to tell about generational trauma and repeating cycles#but would've liked to have seen that part of it#oh! also love the one dead eye reflecting light what a cool design choice#oscar isaac
