Ancient use of photo editing software and my entire degree and this is what I did with it, RIP me.

Somehow it’s still a good edit 500 years later.

Editing for clarification because 500 years later I had to have it pointed out to me that this looks particularly sexual, and my ace ass just… never processed it as anything but cute. But if this is discomfiting for you viewers, I am sorry belatedly, as that was not my intention. As with almost all of my Avatar art, while I see Zuko and Aang as having a potentially romantic relationship, I don’t have any delusions that anything sexual would happen–or would have to happen, or that they would necessarily want to do anything of that nature–in or around the series’ timeline. 

They spent so much time together! In the comics, the whole thing with Yu Dao, The Promise, they spent YEARS creating a CITY together.

nobody knew aang better than zuko

they were best friends

they built a city together, republic city is their baby (its literally the story of Omashu but with a happy ending)

no one shared a bond like zuko and aang did

and they were roommates (oh my god they were roommates)
