What brought you to love indie games?
I thought I'd write 10 paragraphs on this, but nah
I grew up watching a lot of mascot horror content (Baldi, Hello Neighbor, FNaF, Bendy) on YouTube. And then Undertale. And then Cuphead. (And then I forgot lmao). I didn't realize they were all indie at the time
Point is, a decent part of my life revolved around indie games. Once I found out what indie games are, I grew to love them. 80% of the time, they're made with ACTUAL love by the devs; they poured their hearts into it. Unlike a couple AAA games nowadays (looking at Call of Duty), where they just make games just so they can make more money...
Undertale was pretty much the first indie game I playedβadmittedly, I DID pirate it... but I compensated for it by telling people how great it wasβa couple of years ago. It was a great experience, I could go on and on about Undertale
My knowledge on indie games was still very little... last time I got into an indie community was DDLC and even then that was back in 2023. It wasn't actually until December 2025 where I thought, "hey, I should play a lot more indie games" and went on a shopping spree. That's where I found Celeste :>
anyway that's all (dont get me wrong btw, i still like playing AAA games.. only the great ones obv like DOOM)
