Portable Flipping Table

One thing I hate about living in the future is that technology has advanced to the point where I can't tell if a greeting card that is unusually fat will sing at me if I open it. This probably would have been funnier if I'd actually figured out a way to convey that the card in question was fatter than the others.

Kim and Steven talked Adrien and me into playing through Borderlands 1 with them and this has been my experience so far! I never thought I'd meet a UI that was capable of causing me physical pain. I also thought being a healer would be boring, but then it turned out I was the most important person in the party, so that was kind of cool. Now if only I could stop dying.

This looked a lot less stupid in my head, but it's a thing and I drew it so here you go. I made the mistake of picking up Minecraft again, so I've been dedicating virtually all the time I could have been drawing to getting shot at by skeletons and failing miserably at being an architect. Time management is hard.

So far 2015 looks an awful lot like 2014, including the fact that I am at least a week behind the times!

This isn't a true story, but it's a thing I've thought about doing a lot, basically ever since Adrien made the mistake of doing something nice and getting me a DS for Christmas a few years ago. I guess what I'm trying to say is that when you're thinking of things you're thankful for tomorrow, you should probably take a second and appreciate the fact that I am not your girlfriend. Unless you're Adrien, in which case you should appreciate the fact that someone invented alcohol once upon a time.

Backstory: about five months ago, we got a new cat, Shadow (the brown one). She'd been in the shelter for several months, but she's adjusted pretty well, except for taking an inexplicable dislike to our previous cat, Rusty (the orange one). Rusty's been a beta kitty all his life, since he came to us as a kitten when we had two older cats, and now he's basically just curious about her, never aggressive, but she's having none of it and he doesn't know what to do. Anyway, I remember reading a National Geographic article once when I was a kid that mentioned what intelligent animals cats were. Since then, I have come to realize that the cats they studied for the article were most likely not our cats.

I go through this every time I come home, but now it's harder since I don't have the convenient excuse that I'm going back to school in a few weeks and I actually want to be able to do things like use my floor.

I honestly don't know what I expected

This is an extremely stupid comic with bad, lazy art, because things like consistency and correct body proportions are overrated.

One of the many nice features of SoulSilver is that you walk around with the first Pokémon in your party physically following you in the overworld. Since your first Pokémon tends to not be a god, it's usually not a big deal when people don't react to it with shock and awe. When your first Pokémon does happen to be a god, and the self-proclaimed connoisseur of rare Pokémon who is challenging you possesses one Pokémon that is actually fairly common, you have to wonder if it wasn't just a fluke when you walked through a crowded city with your god-Pokémon and no one seemed to notice.
