1970′s feminist vandalism

literally a nightmare

people will ask why feminists and activists zero-in on criticizing female-led propaganda films even more so than male-led ones but all i can see is how much more insidious propaganda is when it specifically targets women

this propaganda piggybacks on the “girl power” public image surrounding the vague cultural recognition of feminism. it packages a reinforcement of the imperial status quo as woke or progressive. despicable.

hey what if we didn’t combine dozens of unrelated political positions into two color-coded options

that sounds like something someone from the other color would say; get ‘em, boys

no more super hero. no more star war. get film back to its roots: a train coming at the camera and scaring me so so much

I feel like in a way “serial killers are geniuses” is just part of police propaganda because it sounds way better than “we are fucking lazy and a lot of serial killers know that and target people who we don’t care about because of racism and classism”. 

More often than not, the killers’ “genius” is far far FAR outweighed by police incompetence and indifference.

I always think of the green River killer who targeted sex workers cos he knew no one would care and he was basically correct. “I thought I could kill as many as I want and no one would notice” and they didn’t care til he started targeting non sex workers. That’s not genius that’s just society hating SWs yet again

Jefrey Dahmer and John Wayne Gacey were both reported to the police *several different times by several different people* and in both cases the police did exactly fuck-all because the reports came from known gay dudes.

The Golden State Killer literally retired from the police force after he was actively raping and killing throughout his career. Robert Pickton mostly preyed on sex workers and Native women, and the police straight up ignored a report from a sex worker who had escaped from his farm. The only reason they ever investigated him at all was some unregistered gun bullshit.
