what i wanted to happen in the junior:
the car crashes, the others pull over and zack calls an ambulance
they dont dare move the people inside the car because common sense *coughs*
abbie, tyler + li are unconscious ( a wreck that looks that bad? sorry pb but we shoulda seen more injuries)
cue flashing blue and red lights while MC spaces out and the ambulance sounds are background noise to her
a doctor is talking to the gang but no one knows what theyâre talking about
time skip to several months later, MC gets out of a car and is greeted by a blond boy
Beside him is Tyler, who greets MC a little bitâŚcoldly
They help someone else out of the car and onto a wheelchair, revealed to be LI
While they walk into the clubhouse, blond boy introduces himself as Nathan, Alpha Tetha Mu president
He says he saw what happened through the news, and went to visit Tyler after he got out of his coma a few months earlier
The fratority is holding a fundraiser to help LI with therapy and medical fees, as favor for their good friend Tyler
The gang kind of grew apart after the âaccidentâ, with everyone doing their own stuff and MC + LI getting their own apartment
But they show up at the fratority party to show support for Tyler and LI
they catch up and talk for a little bit, until they separate
Tyler invites LI to meet the other ATM members, leaving Nathan and MC alone
âHeâs still mad at himself, you know?â
Nathan says, pouring over a drink for MC and himself
âHe was the one driving that car. And he survived. While Abbie didnât.â
MC looks down at her feet. She recalls that fateful night, how she was desperately holding onto LIâs hand as theyâre being wheeled to the ER, how bad the gash on their face and legs look â overflowing with blood. She recalls only waiting, and waiting, until the doctor came out. LI was stable â they all breathed a sigh of relief. Tyler was still unconscious. AndâŚAbbie died on impact.
MC remembers almost fainting. How Zack sobbed into her shoulders. She keeps thinking about Tyler, how he would feel if he wakes up. She shakes her head. When. When he wakes up.
She remembers the funeral a week later. Abbieâs sister and parentsâŚeveryone was there. Except Tyler.
âHe beats himself up over it everyday. He even blames himself for getting into a coma, because he never got to attend Abbieâs funeral.â Nathan continues.
âWere you there that night, when it happened?â
So the main drama here is not just solving the mystery and the woes of living together. This will test the gangâs friendship, MCâs relationship with LI too. LI will also be strained. Their careers will be in peril. Kaitlynâs band, Beccaâs manager gig at Uskea, Chris as football captain, Zigâs dancing + football, Jamesâ hollywood writer dreamâŚ
Tyler is withdrawn, the rest of the gang justâŚrefuses to talk about what happened.
Of course, MC being MC, she will try to help
This could also be a chance to give her a storyline of her own when she realizes that there are some things you can help people with, and others you have to let them deal with on their own
