To everyone complaining about how Rhaenyra is sniveling or that she seems “weak” when she takes the iron throne…she just lost her son not even 24 HOURS ago. Her baby boy, whom she has raised and grown up with for 15 YEARS. Give that woman a break. If anything, it’s the writer’s fault for pacing the show as it is and making her take King’s Landing IMMEDIATELY after Jace’s death.💔😢

exactly, and mind you, she is grieving the fact that she is taking the throne for everything that it has cost her

…And i went in to E2 thinking the “what have you done” line was directed at Baela. To actually see that it was to Jace, as he lay cold and unmoving in the middle of the room because Rhaenyra’s brain could not make the connection to what her eyes were seeing has to be the most devastating response to a child’s death in the entire GOT universe.

Tbh I don't understand anyone who denies their favorite character's flaws and acts like they've never done anything wrong when that is like consistently the most interesting part of any character ever
