i havenāt been on here in a while and i just read through my posts on my side blog and oh my god i used to be so sad. itās so crazy how much my life has changed in the last couple of months. i was so miserable at my old job and i hated the major i was pursuing. iām so much happier at my new job, like i genuinely look forward to going into work and i like everyone i work with. i donāt feel like i have to prove myself to them. i quit my old major and iām so happy that i did. if i continued, i swear i wouldāve ended up k*lling myself. my mental health has never been lower, like i was actually so scared that iād do something stupid but i saw no way out. i finally have the motivation to try school again but for something iām actually interested in and see a future in. my coworkers are all so supportive of me and not judging me whatsoever. i havenāt felt that sad in such a long time. i still have some days where i feel a little sad and unmotivated but itās so rare compared to how often i felt that way before. i guess this is my way of saying to anyone whoās reading this and to anyone who is struggling, please keep going. itās so cheesy and everyone says that, but i promise it does get better. i thought iād be sad for the rest of my life but iām not. iām so happy. i still have some things in my life that iām trying to change that i know will make me happier but i think overall iām content with where iām at.
