ARCHETYPE: the mother. it may be the most obvious choice for nora, but that is what she’s always identified with. she works with expecting mothers for a living, and it’s something she absolutely adores despite how jealous she becomes of them sometimes. she dotes on others, really. and although she’s always wanted to be a mother, it hasn’t been in the cards for her. at least, it’s never lasted. GENRE OF CHOICE: tragedy. she likes the themes of tragedies and the change the characters go through during it. it makes her feel something bigger than herself. the idea of catharsis through the suffering of others makes sense to her. ARCHETYPE: the mother. the first to open her arms to you for comfort, the first to scold you for your foolish mistakes. she holds those around her to high standards, herself to even higher. she sees herself as a caretaker, a provider, a sage, a lover, a judge. she believes she knows best and will not hesitate to make such a belief wildly known. she’s wonderful to have by your side, but should you cross her or her loved ones … well, you can’t say i didn’t warn you. DIONYSUS: these two constantly butt heads, with demeter always chastising dionysus for their reckless tendencies, and dionysus pushing demeter to be more fun. however, neither are really willing to heed the other’s advice, even though they both genuinely have each other’s best interest in mind. and because of that, this doesn’t really stop either of them from trying. PERSEPHONE: demeter has always been the mother figure in persephone’s life. the two are close, though that doesn’t mean their relationship is free of conflict. persephone is constantly seeking approval from the other, often going to demeter for their wisdom and permission. demeter’s judgement, for the most part, hasn’t gotten persephone into any trouble — they’ve always wanted the best for them and would do anything to secure that. POSEIDON: demeter and poseidon have a lot more in common than one would typically think. for starters, both have found themselves to be everyone’s parental figure at one point or another. and to the both of them, it’s nice to finally be able to share this exhausting responsibility with someone, to be in another’s company without the expectation of being the ‘ mature ’ one all the time and to simply just be themselves.

ARCHETYPE: the strategist. to them, everything is a matter of wits. intentional or not, they approach life’s little challenges with a calculated straightforwardness that might intimidate even the most unshakable adversary. goal-oriented and perfectionistic, natalia maintains an order to everything she does. they like to surround themselves with people they believe can help them towards their goals, which  means keeping a limited inner circle. that’s not to say that they don’t keep an eye on the wider community; after all, the best strategies account for each free radical. ZEUS: zeus has always been a father figure for athena, them being one of many in the line. however, everyone knows they’re zeus’ favorite. zeus isn’t entirely reliable when it comes to keeping up with his duties as a ‘ father ’ but with athena, their relationship seemed to come naturally. and as much as athena hates to admit it, they appreciate and welcome zeus’ ever so rare, words of approval. SLOANE KASTLER: girl gangs ? athena and artemis invented those. they’re as close as best friends get, with both of them finding comfort in each other through their shared values and understanding of how they take on the world. on the exterior, the two can tend to be hard and distant but around each other, they’re anything but that ! HEPHAESTUS: hephaestus has never had the best luck when it comes to their love life, and while the encounter between these two is certainly no fairytale, considering how everything else has gone for hephaestus ? this might have been the best one yet, unfortunately. hephaestus fell for athena, hard. and while there may have been a possibility of athena reciprocating these feelings, they ultimately ( kindly ) turned them down. APHRODITE: aphrodite and athena could never really find anything to talk about. while the two don’t dislike each other exactly, it would be an exaggeration to say that they’re friends. they’ve tried to strengthen their relationship but with every attempt comes awkward silences, and dead ends. but on the bright side, they’re on their way to becoming friends as both feel like they could learn something from the other ( and are maybe a little more intimidated than they’d like to admit ).
