Whats your favorite scary movie?

High Tension is one of my favorites. I remember seein’ it back when it played in theaters. The movie has a few twists that remind me of how horror movies were back in the ol’ days. I recommend it!

Oooh, I love me some good horror. ‘N actually, I do have a VHS player! I still use it t’ play some o’ the movie tapes I’ve collected over the years.

what inspired you to become a rock star, anyway?

Hey there, bud. Thanks fer the compliment! Yer too kind. Sam’s been wantin’ to experiment alt rock stuff, so we’ve been practicin’ the past week.

Hmm, what made me wanna be a rockstar? Back when I lived in Grampleton, my big sis would send me music albums that were popular in the city since we don’t have that kind o’ stuff in the countryside. She’d often send her favorite pop music artists, but when she sent me music albums from Korn and Nirvana, I instantly fell in love.

That’s when I knew I wanted t’ make music sounding similar to that. I’ve sung ‘n composed music fer most o’ my life, but they were often folk and country songs. I wanted t’ get out of my comfort zone and experiment with various sounds, ‘n I was so glad I did.

What happened to that band?

Hey, Seb. Good t’ see ya ‘round ‘ere. I was in a band back in uni. This was the time when nu-metal was on the rise, so my friends and I started a band called “Star Chasing”!

I was the lead singer, my friend was the bassist, another friend was the guitarist, and my girl back then was the drummer. We’d play gigs at local bars and restaurants, open mic nights, ‘n at garage parties. Those years were so memorable.

When graduation season rolled around, we decided t’ call it quits since we’d be on our own paths adultin’ in the world. But, we couldn’t say goodbye without makin’ our final appearance at the annual Rocker’s Bash. We’d go up against several rock bands across the city fer a hefty cash prize, but I was more in it so I’d kickstart my dream career as a musician.

But uh…um…my girl cheated on me with our guitarist. What’s worse was that she turned the whole situation ‘round ‘n tellin’ my friends I manipulated her to doin’ some bad things ‘n that’s why she cheated.

‘N everyone sided with her even if that wasn’t true. My friend couldn’t even back me up ‘cuz he was too afraid to say shit. I quit the band a day before Rocker’s Bash, ‘n everyone followed suit.

I know that was years ago, but… I still have trouble trustin’ people no matter how close they are. I feel bad sometimes, I just can’t help it, y’know?

But hey. I got you, Sam, ‘n a bunch o’ other people in town who like me fer who I am. ‘N I thank y’all for bein’ so nice to me every time. I hope one day I can really show my gratitude more.

Hey Vi, Odie! It’s great t’ see you two! Meadowsbrook’s been doin’ just fine. I just finished harvestin’ some pumpkins for Spirit’s Eve. Folks have been carvin’ Jack-O-Lanterns ‘n displayin’ them on their front porch. Why, I’ve never felt this festive before!

Are you two dressin’ up fer the occasion?

The Cygnus constellation is mighty perdy. It’s not much for a swan-shaped constellation, but I’m more interested in the mythology behind it.

Cygnus was a king who had a friend named Phaeton. Unfortunately, Phaeton crashed into a river ‘n Cygnus mourned his passin’ everyday. That’s when one of the gods decided to turn ‘im into a swan for bein’ so darn loyal to his friend even ‘til the end.

I can yap on ‘n on bout myths ‘n stars ‘n whatnot, but I’ll save it fer another day. But my other favorites are the monoceros, perseus, and the argo navis! Technically, the argo navis is a group of constellations, but they all form into one giant sailboat.

Hey girlfriend! I was thinkin maybe we should waltz over to the saloon and grab a drink or too! Shits going to hell in a handbasket so why not have a little fun while were attit?
