A bunch of people already have said this but the reason Israeli propaganda sucks so bad it’s because it’s not designed to convince anti zionists to become pro Israel, it’s designed for zionists to confirm the biases they already have.

Take for example the “40 beheaded babies” and “mass raping campaign” atrocity war propaganda. Those were not meant for the anti imperialists who know these tactics really well or even have a vague memory/knowledge of how this kind of propaganda was used to manufacture consent for the war in Iraq and the butchering of Lybia. It was meant for people with preconceived racist biases against arabs and muslims, to confirm them.

hey guys a movie theatre in my city cancelled a screening of a series of short films by palestinian directors due to pressure from a petition claiming to represent jewish montrealers who considered it antisemitic due to the title of the series being “from the river to the sea.” the montreal chapter of independent jewish voice canada is circulating their own petition to have the screening reinstated. they’re really close to their goal 2,500 signatures but are still a few hundred away. you can sign it here.

Same with black people in the Caribbean. I understand that there were black people who practiced Christianity prior to the Trans-Atlantic slave trade but let’s not pretend that it wasn’t also used as a tool to beat them into submission.
