Tumblr fluid dynamics are sometimes fascinating and impossible to comprehend: I wrote this post, about archeology and euskara, two of the most niche topics ever existing, a month and a half ago and it had a good run and a nice response: a few dozen notes, some nice reblogs from mutuals: A++, good post, thank you for the serotonin, go have some rest in the archive.

Then, earlier this week, people started to reblog it again. And in a few days it's over 3k notes. It has been picked by people who actually knows about linguistics and history and I'm finding myself googling terms they are using to understand what they are talking about in the reblogs (The anti "zero net new knowledge" experience, I'm learning from tumblr!). And I've no idea why, no idea how this came back from the grave and which popular blog I'm not aware of reblogged it to make it have all this attention now.

Tumblr be weird sometimes, fellows.
