   They need have a serious discussion about when and when not to use the double pin, Todoroki-!

Right. Todoroki hadn’t passed his provisional exam, along with Bakugou ( the latter Itsuki found humorous for the most petty of reasons. ) He didn’t understand why Todoroki had failed, however — he was one of the top students in Izuku’s class with an incredible Quirk. There was no doubt he’d become an equally incredible hero. Itsuki had questions, but not quite the proper window to ask them just yet. So instead, he gives a small, wobbly grin, while waving goodbye at the other. 

“O-Oh! You’d better jet then, wouldn’t want you to be late. I hope Kacchan doesn’t give you too much trouble, I know how much of an asshole he can be, right — ”  

What happens next mortifies Itsuki to his very core.  

“ … T-Todoroki-san.”  An entirely unplanned and unexpected high-pitched giggle falls from his lips ( something so ugly he had been trying to hold back all this time. ) 

As a result, he freezes in place. He had messed up, big-time. There was no coming back from something so overtly gross and unlike him. 

He would die, right here and now. He was ready. 

“Right,” Shouto nods, stuffing his hands into his pockets as he glanced past the other. Bakugou was A LOT of things, maybe one could call him an ASSHOLE but, Shouto found some other words that describe him too. But seeing as how Itsuki and his brothers have known Bakugou LONGER - he wouldn’t think to CORRECT them on anything they say about the explosive teen.

However, with the NEXT sound that emitted from Itsuki, Shouto BLINKED, not entirely sure what he did, or said, to make the other LAUGH in such a manner. Was he MOCKING him? ... No, that wasn’t what that sounded like usually, maybe he was just....... LAUGHING? At what?

Todoroki had heard him talking about him?! How s e r i o u s l y uncool. This was entirely Ichizo’s fault for opening his big mouth and teasing him in the first place ( or so Itsuki tells himself, erasing the fact that he had started this by teasing his brother about Kendou first. ) Either way, Todoroki is standing before him now, in the flesh — as perfect as ever — and Itsuki wants to die. Developing a crush was by far the worst thing he had ever done to himself. He wishes he could bury the emotion and maybe not transform into a pile of incoherent goo whenever Todoroki so much as looks in his direction. But alas. He was cursed. 

“I-Ichizo was just about to go away, right Ichizo? Go jump out the window or something! Get some fresh air! Haha! But yeah, nice weather. 

— D-Do you have anything going on today, T-T-Todoroki-san? B-Because I don’t, currently — which is SURPRISING since I’m always booked you know? I’m pretty popular in my class!!! But m-maybe if you wanted to … do something? That would be. Okay.”  

Shouto nods, simply listening to the other as he spoke, as he continued to ramble on about how popular and busy he is. Shouto didn’t mind, per say, popularity was never something he was after. He just didn’t CARE about all of that, THAT was something his father was always chasing and so, Shouto told himself he wouldn’t ever chase after that. The fame, the popularity, none of that mattered. Being a HERO was about SAVING PEOPLE, not about how HIGH you are on the polls.

“T-T-T-T-T-Todoroki-san?!” Itsuki yelps in the exact manner by which Ichizo had been teasing him just seconds ago. Immediately embarrassed to be caught in such a state, Itsuki merely steps in front of Ichizo and attempts to shove his beloved triplet sibling into the nearest closet — all while maintaining a conversation with Todoroki Shouto. The boy he just couldn’t keep his cool around. 

“H-Hey, how’s it going? Nice weather and all, right?” 

Shouto paused, he hadn’t meant to STARTLE the other, scare him to the point of stammering that much. Or well, he supposed that may JUST BE a ‘Midoriya’ thing, sort of like how the mumble storms took them over when they were excited. So MAYBE he hadn’t startled him TOO much.

Shouto blinked, waving slightly at Ichizo as he was shoved away before heterochromatic eyes met Itsuki once more. “I’m alright, I heard my name and thought you both wanted my attention.” He said before glancing up at the sky with a soft shrug, he supposed the whether was nice enough, no rain and it wasn’t too hot that he could too.
