Stares at his phone sadly — it seems it will have to wait until Shouto is finished with class before receiving a reply. Hopefully. To be left on read was devastating. 

Ah. So Shouto was referring to him as the devil. Quite honestly, he can’t blame the other for believing and stating so without so much as blinking. Enji is stunned with silence that lasts for a few beats, before he starts back up again and mutters, “ . . . Well, I hope you have a pleasant evening at this — event.” 

“But I AM wearing one. I have on this . . . headband. Unfortunately.” 

He hadn’t planned on dressing up for the event — content with merely keeping watch as a chaperone. But upon arriving he found himself being handed something to wear regardless and fit in with the theme of “costumes” for the evening . . . a pair of devil ears. And so a devil was Todoroki Enji for Halloween.
